Philips 328E1CA — 31.5" 4K UHD Curved VA Monitor with Wide Colour
31.5" 4K UHDCurved 1500R VA99% NTSC · 1.07B coloursSpeakers 2x 3W
The Philips 328E1CA (E Line) is a 31.5-inch 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) curved VA monitor with a 1500R curve, wide colour (99% NTSC, 122% sRGB) and built-in 3W speakers. It is designed for users who want a big, sharp screen for multitasking, photos and 4K video at an accessible price.
At 31.5", 4K gives about 140 PPI — very crisp at 150% scaling, or a huge workspace at 125%. The VA panel provides 2500:1 contrast, so dark scenes look deeper than on typical IPS screens, and the gentle 1500R curve keeps the edges of this large screen within comfortable view.
Before you order: There is no USB-C input and no USB hub — USB-C laptops need a USB-C to HDMI 2.0 or USB-C to DisplayPort cable. For 4K at 60Hz, your computer needs HDMI 2.0 or DisplayPort output. The stand tilts only.

What It Means in Practice
- Connect via DisplayPort 1.2 or one of two HDMI 2.0 inputs for 4K at 60Hz.
- Two HDMI inputs make it easy to keep a laptop and a console or streaming box connected.
- The 1500R curve suits a large screen — your eyes travel less to the edges than on a flat 32".
- Adaptive-Sync smooths frame delivery within the 60Hz limit.
- The base tilts -5° to 20°; use a VESA 100 x 100 arm if you need height adjustment.
What Will Not Work
- No USB-C, USB hub or laptop charging.
- Maximum 60Hz — not suited to competitive gaming.
- No height, swivel or pivot adjustment on the included stand.
- Philips does not publish HDR support for this model.

Frequently Asked Questions
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
The 328E1CA delivers a lot of screen for the money: 4K sharpness, a comfortable curve, good contrast and speakers. Its trade-offs are the tilt-only stand and higher power use (energy class G), so pair it with an arm from our monitor stands range if posture matters.
✓ Buy it if you want a large curved 4K screen for productivity and media at a good price.
✕ Skip it if you need USB-C, a height-adjustable stand, high refresh rates or low energy consumption.
→ Also consider the Philips 27E1N1800A (27" 4K IPS) or the Lenovo ThinkVision T27UD-40 (27" 4K with USB-C 100W).
