The Poly DA85 (HP part number 786C7AA, Poly 218267-01) is a USB to Quick Disconnect (QD) digital audio adapter that connects Poly and Plantronics wired QD headsets to a computer for softphone and contact-centre calls. It includes an inline processor with answer/end, volume and mute buttons, status lights and SoundGuard Digital acoustic protection, on a 1.3 m cable.
Compatibility Note: The DA85 works with Poly/Plantronics Quick Disconnect (QD) headsets such as the EncorePro 500 series; it does not accept 3.5 mm or USB headsets. Standard version — for a dedicated Microsoft Teams button choose the DA85-M (HP 786C8AA).
