The HP Poly Studio X52 (8D8K2AA#ABB) is an all-in-one video bar for medium meeting rooms with a 20 MP 4K camera, Poly DirectorAI framing, four microphones that pick up voices up to about 6 m and stereo speakers, running Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms or Google Meet directly on the bar.
It is the middle of the Poly Studio X range: bigger audio reach and a second HDMI output compared with the X30/X32, without the dual-lens camera of the X72. A 110° diagonal field of view takes in a typical six- to eight-seat table, and the bar connects by Gigabit Ethernet or Wi-Fi 6. Native apps are also available for Dialpad, GoTo Room, RingCentral and StarLeaf.
Before you order: This SKU is the video bar only — the Poly TC10 touch controller is a separate kit (8D8L1AA). The bar needs a display, mains power (no PoE) and a licence or account for the chosen meeting platform.

- Fits medium rooms of about 6 × 4.6 m; DirectorAI frames the speaker, the people present or the whole group automatically.
- Two HDMI outputs put people and content on separate screens (three in Zoom with a supported adapter).
- Wired HDMI input lets anyone share a laptop screen without installing software.
- USB Device mode turns the bar into camera and audio for a laptop when someone needs to join from their own app.
What Will Not Work
- It is not a Windows PC — Teams Rooms on Windows and Windows applications do not run on it.
- It cannot be powered over PoE; use the supplied AC adapter.
- No touch controller is included in this SKU.
- Platform licences are not included.

For most medium meeting rooms the X52 is the sensible Studio X: enough microphone reach for a full table, two screens and no PC to maintain. Add a TC10 controller and one or two commercial displays, and the room is complete.
✓ Buy it if you need a medium Teams, Zoom or Meet room without a separate PC.
✕ Skip it if the room is deeper than about 6 m — consider the Studio X72 — or it is a two-to-four person huddle room, where the X32 is enough.
