EFB EK631CC.1 — 19" 1U PDU with 12 IEC C13 outlets and C14 input for UPS outputs
12 x IEC C13IEC C14 input10 A overload protection1U · 19"
The EFB-Elektronik EK631CC.1 is a 19-inch, 1U rack PDU with twelve IEC C13 outlets, fed through a 1.8 m cable with an IEC C14 plug and protected by a 10 A overload cut-out. It takes one C13 output of a UPS or upstream PDU and spreads it over twelve server-style outlets inside the rack.
The aluminium-profile housing is black, the outlets have increased touch protection, and there is no on/off switch, so nothing in the rack can be switched off by accident.
Before you order: The input is an IEC C14 plug, so the strip connects to a C13 outlet on a UPS or PDU — not to a wall socket. Your devices need C14-to-C13 cords. The whole strip is limited to 10 A by the input and the overload protection.
What's in the Box
- 1 x EFB EK631CC.1 19" PDU with fixed 1.8 m supply cable (IEC C14 plug)
- EFB does not publish a full package list — rack mounting is via the strip's 19" end brackets; use the screws and cage nuts of your rack
- No device power cords included
What It Means in Practice
- One UPS outlet becomes twelve, so all switches, firewalls and servers in the rack share the UPS backup.
- 10 A total is about 2300 W at 230 V — plenty for network gear, tight for several loaded servers.
- IEC outlets avoid country-specific plugs: you only need C14-to-C13 cords, whatever plugs the devices shipped with.
- No switch: power is controlled from the UPS output.
What Will Not Work
- Plugging straight into a wall socket — the C14 input needs a C13 outlet on a UPS or PDU.
- Devices with Schuko or BS 1363 plugs — use C14-to-C13 cords instead.
- High-power C19/C20 equipment — the outlets are C13 only.
- Loads above 10 A in total — the overload protection will cut out.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
Twelve C13 outlets behind one UPS socket is the neatest way to run a network rack on backup power. Mind the 10 A limit when servers are involved. More rack power and mounting parts are in our rack accessories.
✓ Buy it if you feed a network rack from a UPS C13 outlet and your devices use IEC cords.
✕ Skip it if you need more than 10 A, C19 outlets, or a wall-plug input.
→ Also consider DIGITUS DN-95427 (C20 input, 16 A, 8 x C13 + 2 x C19) or DIGITUS DN-95426 (12 x C13 with CEE 7/7 plug).
Not sure your UPS outlet can feed it? Send us the UPS model and the devices you plan to connect and we will check the load before you order.
