The Rackmount.IT RM-SR-T15 is a 19-inch rack mount kit that lets you install a desktop Sophos Sophos XGS 108 or XGS 108W in a standard rack, with its connections brought to the front and the power supply secured on the tray. It is built for IT teams and MSPs who want the firewall to sit neatly in the comms cabinet instead of on a shelf or on top of other equipment.
Rackmount.IT designs each kit around one specific appliance family, so the tray, cut-outs and cable routing match the exact chassis. The kit is 1.3U high, 58.7 x 483 x 217 mm, finished in Signal White, and Rackmount.IT quotes an assembly time of under three minutes. The Sophos appliance itself is not included.
Before you order: This kit is 1.3U high (58.7 mm), taller than a standard 1U. It covers part of the next rack unit, so plan the space above it before ordering.

What It Means in Practice
- The XGS 108 network and USB ports are brought to the front, so patching happens from the front of the rack.
- The power supply is secured on the tray, so nothing hangs loose at the back.
- Custom ventilation cut-outs keep airflow around the appliance.
- On the 108W, the antennas can be moved to the front through punch-out holes using an SMA cable you add.
What Will Not Work
- Other Sophos XGS models (XGS 87, 116, 126, 136 and larger) - they need a different kit.
- SMA antenna extension cables for the 108W are not included.
- It does not fit in exactly 1U of space - it is 1.3U high.
- Rack screws and cage nuts for the cabinet are not supplied.
