The Rackmount.IT RM-FR-T10I is a 1U, 19 inch FortiRack kit that mounts a desktop Fortinet FortiGate from the 60E, 60F, 70F or 70G series in a standard rack and brings its ports to the front on shielded RJ-45 keystones plus a USB-A port. It is the tidy way to put a branch or SMB firewall into the same cabinet as the switch and patch panel.
The appliance is fixed with two bolts from underneath and its external power supply is strapped into the kit with cable ties. Custom cut-outs keep the ventilation path open, and the firewall LEDs remain visible through the faceplate. Rackmount.IT specifies a kit weight of 1.9 kg and a depth of about 217 mm.
Before you order: Listed models: FortiGate FG-60E, 60E-DSL, 60E-POE, 61E, 60F, 61F, 70F, 71F, 70G, 70G-POE, 71G, 71G-POE; FortiWiFi FWF-60E, 60E-DSL, 60F, 61F, 70G, 70G-POE, 71G; FortiDeceptor FDC-100G. FortiWiFi units fit but have no antenna provision. The FortiGate 80F/81F family needs the 2U RM-FR-T18 instead.

What It Means in Practice
- Only 1U of rack space for the firewall — the most compact way to rack a 60F or 70G.
- All LAN/WAN ports, console position and USB are patched at the front of the rack.
- Shielded cables and couplers keep an STP installation properly shielded end to end.
- Power supply is secured inside the kit instead of lying loose in the cabinet.
What Will Not Work
- Not for FortiGate 80F/81F, 100F or larger models.
- FortiWiFi antennas cannot be routed to the front with this kit.
- No redundant PSU holder: the kit holds one external power supply.
- The Fortinet appliance is not included.
