Rackmount.IT 1.3U 19-inch Rack Mount Kit for Palo Alto Networks PA-440, PA-450, PA-460 and PA-510, with Blind Plate, Black

The Rackmount.IT RM-PA-T7 is a 19-inch rack mount kit that lets you install a desktop Palo Alto Networks PA-440, PA-450, PA-460 or PA-510 firewall in a standard rack, with the appliance mounted so its connectors face the front of the rack and room for two power supplies. It is built for IT teams and MSPs who want the firewall to sit neatly in the comms cabinet instead of on a shelf or on top of other equipment.

Rackmount.IT designs each kit around one specific appliance family, so the tray, cut-outs and cable routing match the exact chassis. The kit is 1.3U high, 58.7 x 483 x 300.7 mm (88.4 mm high with the blind plate), finished in Black, and Rackmount.IT quotes an assembly time of under three minutes. The Palo Alto Networks appliance itself is not included.

• The firewall is mounted with its connectors facing the front, so you patch directly into the appliance from the front of the rack.
• There is room for two power supplies on the tray, useful when you run a second PSU for redundancy.
• The blind plate closes the gap to a full 2U so the rack front stays tidy and airflow is not short-circuited.
• Ventilation cut-outs keep air moving around the appliance.

• Other Palo Alto models such as the PA-410, PA-415 or PA-1400 series - they need a different kit.
• No network extension cables or front couplers are included - cable directly to the appliance.
• It is not a 1U kit; it needs more than one rack unit of height.
• Shallow cabinets under about 30 cm of usable depth will not take it.
