The Rittal 7151035 is a pack of two 1U 19-inch blanking panels, 482.6 mm wide with a 44 mm installation height, made of sheet steel in light grey RAL 7035, for closing unused rack units in the front of a network or server cabinet.
Empty rack units are more than a cosmetic problem. Hot exhaust air from switches and servers circulates back to the front through every open gap and is drawn in again, raising intake temperatures. Blanking panels close those gaps so cool air goes through the equipment, not around it, and they give the cabinet a tidy, finished front. Rittal describes them as extension covers that can also be populated as required.
Before you order: Rittal sells this item in packs of 2 — one order gives you two 1U panels. Rittal does not publish a compatibility list; the panels follow the standard 482.6 mm (19-inch) width and fit standard 19-inch rails. Fixing screws and cage nuts are not listed in the scope of supply.

What Will Not Work

- Gaps larger than 1U per panel: use two or more panels, or a taller blanking panel.
- Black cabinets where colour matters: this is RAL 7035 light grey.
- Cable pass-through: this is a solid panel; for cable entry use a brush or cable management panel.
