Rittal DK 7111.224 — Cable Routing Bars, 19" Attachment, 4U
4U · 19"Pack of 4Openable catchesBlack RAL 9005
The Rittal DK 7111.224 cable routing bars attach to 19-inch system punchings and route whole cable bundles in a structured way across 4U of rack height. Each chamber is roughly 34 x 100 mm, and the bars open selectively with turning catches so you can add or remove a cable without undoing the rest.
Rittal builds the support from sheet steel and the cable routing bars and connection combs from UL 94-V0 flame-retardant plastic, finished in black RAL 9005. Open mounting holes allow retrospective attachment to existing system punchings, and connecting pieces let several units be combined.
Before you order: Rittal sells this item in packs of 4 pieces. The fixing is for 482.6 mm (19") system punchings. If you are not sure it matches your rack profile, send us the rack or cabinet model and we will check.
What's in the Box
- Cable routing bars (Rittal pack quantity: 4 pieces)
- 2x connection combs
What It Means in Practice
- Large chambers of about 34 x 100 mm take whole bundles, not just single patch leads.
- The turning catches open one chamber at a time, so moves and changes do not disturb the other cables.
- UL 94-V0 plastic is flame-retardant, which matters inside a closed cabinet.
- Black RAL 9005 matches black Rittal and most other black 19-inch racks.
What Will Not Work
- It is not a patch panel and has no ports.
- It is not a brush or blanking panel, so it will not close off an open rack unit.
- It will not fix to racks without standard 19-inch system punchings.
- Rittal does not publish a load rating, so it is not meant to support heavy cable runs over long spans on its own.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
Cable routing bars earn their place in racks where bundles, not single leads, move between devices: they keep weight and bend radius under control and make changes quicker. For a finished look at the patch field, combine them with brush or blanking panels from our
rack accessories range.
✓ Buy it if you need to route full cable bundles neatly across 4U of a 19-inch rack and want openable chambers.
✕ Skip it if you just need to hide an unused unit or pass a few patch cords through, where a brush panel is simpler.
→ Also consider a 1U brush strip panel for pass-through, or a horizontal D-ring cable manager for patch cords.
