The Rittal DK 7979.440 PDU managed is a vertical 0U power distribution unit for server racks with 36 IEC C13 and 6 IEC C19 outlets, fed from a three-phase 400 V / 16 A supply through a CEE 16 A plug on a 3 m cable, for up to 11 kW. Each phase serves 12 × C13 and 2 × C19 outlets.
Every outlet can be switched individually over the network, and every output slot is metered — voltage, current, frequency, active and apparent power, power factor and THD — with ±1% energy accuracy to EN 62053-21. Two redundant Gigabit Ethernet ports provide HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, Modbus/TCP, OPC-UA, FTP/SFTP and SMTP email.
Before you order: the PDU needs a three-phase 400 V CEE 16 A five-pin supply, and the outlets are IEC C13/C19 only. Servers and storage with C14/C20 inlets connect directly; devices with Schuko plugs need adapters or a different PDU.
