Rittal PSM Socket Module 7856.070, 6 × IEC C13, Plug-in for PSM Busbar, 10 A Thermal Overload Protection, Black
Rittal PSM Socket Module — 6 × IEC C13 with 10 A Thermal Protection
The Rittal DK 7856.070 is a PSM (Power System Module) socket module with six IEC 320 C13 outlets and an integrated 10 A thermal overload fuse, made to lock into a Rittal PSM busbar in server and network racks.
In the PSM system the busbar is mounted vertically in the rack and fed once; socket modules click into free slots and can be locked in or released while the system is working. Compared with the non-fused DK 7856.080, this version protects all six sockets with a 10 A thermal overload device, so an overloaded module trips locally instead of taking down the busbar circuit.
What's in the Box
- 1 × Rittal PSM socket module DK 7856.070 (6 × IEC C13, 10 A thermal protection)
What It Means in Practice
- Six C13 outlets per busbar slot for servers, switches and storage.
- The 10 A thermal fuse covers all six sockets together — plan the total load of the module at 10 A or less.
- Add or swap modules while the rest of the rack keeps running.
- Mix fused and non-fused modules on the same busbar as needed.
What Will Not Work
- Will not work without a Rittal PSM busbar and infeed — no cable or plug of its own.
- C19 devices and Schuko plugs do not fit.
- The six outlets share 10 A: six fully loaded high-power servers will trip it.
- No metering, outlet switching or remote monitoring.
