The Rittal DK 7856.230 is a PSM socket module with four IEC 60320 C19 outlets, designed to plug into Rittal’s PSM (Power System Module) busbar support rail inside server and network racks. It is for data centre and server room teams who build modular rack power distribution and need high-current C19 outlets for servers, blade chassis, storage arrays or large switches with C20 power inlets.
Because PSM modules slide into the support rail in any combination, you can mix C13 and C19 modules on the same rail and change the outlet layout later without replacing the whole PDU.
Before you order: This is not a standalone PDU: it needs a Rittal PSM support rail (busbar) with its own power infeed. The module has no fuse or circuit breaker of its own, so overcurrent protection must come from the infeed or upstream.

- Plan the load: the module is rated 16 A maximum, and all outlets on the rail share the infeed’s capacity.
What Will Not Work
- It does not plug into a wall socket and does not work without a Rittal PSM support rail.
- Devices with C14 inlets (most 1U servers, switches) need C13 outlets or C14-to-C19 adapter cables.
- It is not switchable and has no metering or remote monitoring.
