RIVACASE 8335 Biscayne Laptop Bag 15.6"

15.6"Water-resistantTablet up to 10.1"0.555 kgRed

The RIVACASE 8335 belongs to the Biscayne collection — compact business bags in dense, water-resistant fabric. It carries a 15.6" laptop in a padded compartment, adds a 10.1" tablet slot and a document section, and weighs just over half a kilo.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Fits laptops up to 15.6". The laptop pocket measures 400 x 280 x 45 mm — measure against that if your machine is thick. A separate slot takes a tablet up to 10.1".

Best For

✓ Business users carrying a 15.6" laptop and papers
✓ Anyone who wants a light bag rather than a padded case
✓ Commuters who need quick front-pocket access
✓ Buyers who want a colour other than black

Key Features

Padded 15.6" laptop compartment
A dedicated padded section of 400 x 280 x 45 mm for laptops up to 15.6".

Two internal compartments
Beyond the laptop section there are two more internal compartments — one takes a 10.1" tablet, the other documents and accessories.

Three external pockets
Two front pockets plus an additional external zipped pocket for keys, a phone or a transit card.

Water-resistant dense fabric
RIVACASE specifies a high-density water-resistant fabric. No IP rating is published.

Removable shoulder strap with anti-slip pad
The adjustable shoulder strap detaches and carries a non-slip shoulder pad, so it stays put on a coat.

Easy-pull dual zippers
Twin zipper pulls on the main compartment, so it opens from either side.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the red version made from recycled material?
No. RIVACASE lists the five other colours of the 8335 as RPET polyester with an ECO badge, but the red variant as plain polyester with no ECO badge. Only the red one lacks the recycled claim.
What size laptop fits?
Up to 15.6". The physical pocket is 400 x 280 x 45 mm.
Can I carry a tablet as well?
Yes — one of the two extra internal compartments takes a tablet up to 10.1".
Is it waterproof?
It uses a dense water-resistant fabric. RIVACASE publishes no IP rating, so treat it as rain-resistant rather than waterproof.
Does the shoulder strap come off?
Yes, it is removable and adjustable, and it has an anti-slip shoulder pad.
What is the Biscayne collection?
It is RIVACASE’s compact business line. Note that "Casual" you may see on RIVACASE’s site is a style filter, not a different collection, and "Central" is a separate collection entirely.
Singular Expert Insight
A sensible, unfussy business bag — three internal compartments and three external pockets at 555 grams is a good ratio, and the anti-slip shoulder pad is the kind of small thing you notice daily. The one point to be precise about: RIVACASE’s own collection page tags the 8335 as ECO, but the red variant’s product page says plain polyester with no ECO badge, unlike the other five colours. We have published the variant data, not the collection tag.
