Samsung Galaxy S26+ — 256 GB, 12 GB RAM, Sky Blue
6.7″ QHD+ 120 Hz4,900 mAh, 45 W3x optical telephotoExynos 2600
The Samsung Galaxy S26+ (SM-S947BLBDEUE) is the large-screen model in Samsung’s current flagship generation, in Sky Blue with 12 GB of memory and 256 GB of storage. It takes the Galaxy S26’s camera system and puts it behind a 6.7-inch QHD+ display, with a 4,900 mAh battery and 45 W charging instead of 25 W.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The Plus is a bigger Galaxy S26, not a smaller Ultra. It shares the S26’s exact camera set — 50 MP main, 10 MP 3x telephoto, 12 MP ultra-wide — and adds a sharper, larger screen, a much bigger battery and faster charging. What it does not get is the Ultra’s 200 MP main camera, its 5x optical telephoto or its S Pen. If the cameras are why you are upgrading, the Ultra is the phone; if it is screen and battery, this is. Three sizes share this generation and no case crosses between them: S26 is SM-S942B, S26+ is SM-S947B, S26 Ultra is SM-S948B. Note also that European S26+ units run an Exynos 2600 while the Ultra runs a Snapdragon, and that no charger is included.
Best For
✓ A large, sharp screen without Ultra bulk
✓ All-day battery with 45 W top-ups
✓ Video and reading on a QHD+ panel
✓ Photography with a real 3x optical telephoto
✓ Seven years of security updates
✓ Anyone who wants the big phone but not the S Pen
Key Features
6.7 inches at QHD+
Dynamic AMOLED 2X at 3,120 x 1,440 with a 1–120 Hz adaptive refresh rate, Vision Booster and a 2,600-nit peak — a sharper panel than the FHD+ screen on the standard S26. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 front and back in an Armor Aluminium frame, 158.4 x 75.8 x 7.3 mm and 190 g.
4,900 mAh and 45 W
The battery is 600 mAh larger than the S26’s and charging nearly doubles, from 25 W to 45 W — Samsung publishes about 69% in half an hour. On a phone this size that combination is the practical difference between charging at lunchtime and not thinking about it.
The same three cameras as the S26
50 MP F1.8 main with optical stabilisation, 10 MP F2.4 telephoto at 3x optical, 12 MP F2.2 ultra-wide, and a 12 MP autofocus front camera, with 8K video at 30 fps. Samsung did not give the Plus a camera upgrade this generation — that is reserved for the Ultra.
Exynos 2600 and Bluetooth 6.0
European units run Samsung’s own Exynos 2600, a deca-core part at 3.8, 3.26 and 2.76 GHz, with Bluetooth 6.0. Security updates are published as running to 28 February 2033.

Singular Expert Insight
The Plus is the model people talk themselves out of and then wish they had bought. It gives you the Ultra’s screen size class and the Ultra’s battery comfort — 4,900 mAh with 45 W charging — without the Ultra’s weight, thickness or price, and the QHD+ panel is genuinely sharper than the standard S26’s FHD+. Where you have to be honest with yourself is the camera. Samsung did not upgrade it: the Plus carries the same 50 MP main and 10 MP 3x telephoto as the smallest model in the family. If photography at distance is your reason to spend more, the Ultra is the only phone in this generation that answers it, and the gap is large. If your reason is screen and battery, the Plus is better value than the Ultra by a wide margin. One European note: this is an Exynos 2600 phone, while the Ultra is Snapdragon everywhere. The rest of the range is in mobile phones, and cases in phone cases.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want a large QHD+ screen and a battery that lasts, with 45 W charging and a real 3x optical telephoto, and you do not need the Ultra’s camera system or S Pen.
Skip it if
Cameras are why you are upgrading — the Plus has the same set as the standard S26 and the Ultra is a different tier. Skip it too if you want a phone that works one-handed.
Also consider
Samsung Galaxy S26 for the same cameras in a 6.3-inch body at a lower price. Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra for the 200 MP camera, 5x optical zoom, 60 W charging and an S Pen. A Samsung Magnet case if you want magnetic charging and mounts.
