Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra — 6.9-inch QHD+, 12GB RAM, 256GB, 200MP Camera, White

200MP main camera6.9-inch QHD+ 1–120Hz7 OS upgrades, 7 years securityIP68, Gorilla Armor 2

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is the top of the Galaxy S line: a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with an adaptive 1 to 120Hz refresh, a 200MP main camera backed by three more sensors, 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, in White. It is rated IP68, runs Android 16 with One UI 8.5, and carries Samsung’s longest support commitment: seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.

Compatibility — check before buying:
No charger is included. Samsung ships the phone without a power adapter — you will need a USB-C PD supply, and Samsung publishes that a 60W adapter takes it to about 75 percent in 30 minutes. Zoom, stated honestly: Samsung’s own spec table gives 3x and 5x optical zoom and up to 100x digital. Marketing material describes 10x “optical-quality” zoom, which is a sensor crop of the 5x periscope, not a fourth lens — judge it as 5x optical. The S Pen is supported, but Samsung does not publish whether one ships in the box, so do not count on it. Dual SIM works as one nano-SIM plus eSIM. If you are moving from an older Galaxy and want to keep your case or charger, tell us the model and we will check it.

Best For

✓ Photography where the main camera does the work
✓ Video up to 8K, and 240fps slow motion at Full HD
✓ Anyone who keeps a phone five years or more
✓ Bright outdoor use on a 6.9-inch QHD+ panel
✓ Work phones needing UWB, NFC and Knox
✓ Gaming and heavy multitasking on 12GB

Key Features

200MP main camera, four lenses
A 200MP f/1.4 wide with optical stabilisation, a 50MP f/1.9 ultra-wide, a 50MP f/2.9 telephoto and a 10MP f/2.4 stabilised telephoto. Samsung publishes 3x and 5x optical zoom and up to 100x digital. The front camera is 12MP f/2.2 with autofocus.

6.9-inch QHD+ from 1 to 120Hz
Dynamic AMOLED 2X at 3120 x 1440, dropping to 1Hz on static content and rising to 120Hz when you scroll. Vision Booster handles bright sunlight and Privacy Display limits side viewing. Samsung does not publish a peak brightness figure for this model.

Seven years of updates
Android 16 with One UI 8.5 out of the box, seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates — Samsung lists security support running to 28 February 2033. That is the single strongest argument for buying it new rather than a discounted older flagship.

Built to survive
IP68 for dust and 1.5 m of fresh water for 30 minutes, an Armor Aluminum frame, Corning Gorilla Armor 2 over the screen and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the back. The 5,000 mAh battery is rated for at least 1,200 charge cycles and up to 31 hours of video playback.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the zoom really 100x?
Not optically. Samsung’s own spec table publishes 3x and 5x optical zoom and up to 100x digital. Marketing describes a 10x “optical-quality” zoom, but that is a crop from the 5x periscope sensor rather than a separate lens. Judge the phone on 5x optical: beyond that you are cropping, and results depend heavily on light.
Does it come with a charger?
No. Samsung ships the S26 Ultra without a power adapter, which is now standard across the range. Any USB-C Power Delivery charger will work; Samsung publishes that a 60W adapter reaches about 75 percent in 30 minutes. It does not publish a maximum wattage figure, so we do not quote one. Wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare are supported, again with no published wattage.
How long will it be supported?
Seven generations of Android upgrades and seven years of security updates. Samsung’s own listing gives security support until 28 February 2033. On a phone bought in 2026 that is the longest commitment in the Android market, and it is the main reason to buy this new rather than a discounted previous flagship.
Can I add storage or use two physical SIMs?
No to both. There is no microSD slot, so the 256GB in this model is what you have — the 512GB and 1TB versions are separate part numbers, and the 1TB one also moves up to 16GB of RAM. Dual SIM works as one physical nano-SIM plus an eSIM, not two trays.
Singular Expert Insight
The S26 Ultra is bought for two things: the camera system and the seven-year support window. Everything else — the QHD+ panel, IP68, Gorilla Armor 2, Wi-Fi 7, UWB — is what you would expect at this level. Where buyers get caught is the zoom marketing and the storage. Take Samsung’s spec table over the campaign: 5x is the longest true optical reach. And with no microSD slot, the 256GB you buy is permanent; if you shoot 8K video regularly, look at the 512GB tier before you commit. This is also a large, heavy phone at 214 g — if that matters, the smaller S26 models share most of the software and support story. Our mobile phones range covers those, and we can check case and charger compatibility if you are upgrading.

Buyer’s Guide

Buy it if

You want the best camera Samsung makes and you keep phones a long time — a 200MP main sensor, 5x optical reach, 8K video, and security updates running to 2033. The IP68 rating and Gorilla Armor 2 mean it survives the years you plan to keep it.

Skip it if

You want a phone you barely notice in a pocket: at 214 g and 163.6 mm this is a big, heavy device. Skip it too if you rely on expandable storage — there is no microSD slot — or if you were buying it for a 10x optical zoom that does not exist.

Also consider

The 512GB or 1TB versions of the same phone if you shoot a lot of 8K video; the 1TB tier also carries 16GB of RAM instead of 12. Or a smaller S26 model if size and weight matter more than the camera system, since they share the same software and update commitment.
