Dynamic AMOLED 2X · 120 Hz12 GB / 256 GBS Pen included5.5 mm · 471 g · IP68
The SM-X736BZAPEUB is the Galaxy Tab S11 5G at 11″ in grey, with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It has a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display at 2560 × 1600 running at 120 Hz, an IP68-rated S Pen in the box, an 8,400 mAh battery with 45 W Super Fast Charging, microSD to 2 TB and Wi-Fi 6E. It is 5.5 mm thick and 471 g, and Samsung publishes security updates until 30 September 2032.
Compatibility — check before buying:
???? A naming correction first, because this part number is widely mislabelled. SM-X736 is the Galaxy Tab S11 5G — the 2025 flagship. It is not a Tab S9 FE+ 5G, which is a different base model (SM-X616B) from an earlier and cheaper line. If you are comparing against an FE model, you are comparing against a different class of tablet.
⭐ This is the flagship panel, and it is the main reason to choose it over an FE. Dynamic AMOLED 2X at 120 Hz, where the Tab S10 FE+ uses a TFT LCD at 90 Hz. On a tablet used for film, photographs or dark-mode work, per-pixel AMOLED black is a visible difference rather than a specification-sheet one.
⭐ 5.5 mm and 471 g. Remarkably thin and light for an 11″ tablet with this battery — and 193 g lighter than the 13.1″ FE+, which makes it a genuinely one-handed device in a way the larger tablets are not.
⭐ The S Pen is included, and it is IP68-rated itself. Samsung publishes the pen as IP68 as well as the tablet — so a spill does not ruin either. No charging, no pairing.
⭐ Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4. Samsung publishes 802.11ax across 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz — the 6 GHz band is what makes it 6E, and it is a genuine step above the Wi-Fi 6 of the FE line. USB is USB 3.2 Gen 1 rather than the FE’s USB 2.0, so wired transfers are far quicker.
⭐ Dual SIM with eSIM, plus microSD. Samsung publishes the slot configuration as SIM 1 + eSIM + microSD, so you can run a physical SIM, an eSIM and a memory card together.
⚠️ 45 W charging, but no charger in the box. Samsung publishes 45 W Super Fast Charging for this model — a figure it does not publish for the FE line — but the box contains the S Pen, a quick start guide, an ejection pin and a USB-C data cable only. Buy a 45 W USB-C charger to get the speed you are paying for.
⚠️ No NFC and no 3.5 mm headphone jack. Samsung publishes NFC as “No” and the earjack row as USB Type-C.
ℹ️ No chipset name is published in the European specification table — only “Octa-Core, 3.73 GHz, 3.3 GHz, 2.4 GHz”. We do not print a chipset name Samsung has not published.
ℹ️ Samsung publishes no speaker count and no Dolby Atmos row for this model in its European table, so we do not claim either.

Best For
✓ Film, photography and dark-mode work — AMOLED is the reason to buy this over an FE
✓ Drawing and note-taking — the S Pen is included and IP68-rated
✓ A tablet used away from Wi-Fi — 5G with both SIM types
✓ Anyone who wants a flagship tablet that is genuinely light at 471 g
Key Features
Dynamic AMOLED 2X at 120 Hz
2560 × 1600 with per-pixel black, where the FE line uses a TFT LCD at 90 Hz. This is the single biggest difference between the flagship and the FE tablets.
⭐ IP68-rated S Pen included
In the box, and Samsung rates the pen IP68 as well as the tablet. No charging and no pairing.
5.5 mm thick, 471 g
Very thin and light for an 11″ tablet carrying an 8,400 mAh battery — and 193 g lighter than the 13.1″ FE+.
45 W Super Fast Charging
A published figure, unlike the FE line where Samsung states no wattage at all. ⚠️ The charger is not included.
Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4 and USB 3.2 Gen 1
802.11ax on 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz, and a USB port an order of magnitude faster than the FE line’s USB 2.0.

Singular Expert Insight
Two things to establish before anything else. First, this is the Galaxy Tab S11 5G, not a Tab S9 FE+ — the part number is widely mislabelled and the two are different classes of tablet. Second, the reason to pay flagship money here is the panel: Dynamic AMOLED 2X at 120 Hz, where every FE tablet uses an LCD. For film, photographs and dark-mode work that is a difference you see immediately, not one you read about. Beyond the screen, the S11 is quietly better in the places that matter day to day: Wi-Fi 6E rather than Wi-Fi 6, USB 3.2 Gen 1 rather than USB 2.0, a published 45 W charging figure where the FE line publishes none, and 5.5 mm and 471 g — light enough to hold, which the 13.1″ tablets are not. The S Pen is included and IP68-rated itself. Two things to budget for: a 45 W USB-C charger, since none is included, and the knowledge that Samsung publishes no brightness figure, no speaker count and no Dolby Atmos row for this model — we would rather tell you than fill the gaps. Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want a flagship tablet with an AMOLED screen and 5G, light enough to actually hold, with the S Pen included.
Skip it if
You want the largest possible screen (the 13.1″ FE+), or an LCD would do and you would rather spend less — the FE line is materially cheaper.
Also consider
A 45 W USB-C charger — none is included — plus a folio case with an S Pen holder, and a microSD card.
