Samsung T9 microSDXC 512 GB — 200 MB/s read, Class 10 / U3 / V30 / A2

512 GB microSDXCClass 10 / U3 / V30 / A2Read 200 MB/sClass 10 / U3 / V30

The MB-MH512T/WW is Samsung’s T9 microSDXC card in 512 GB. Samsung rates it at 200 MB/s sequential read, with the Class 10 / U3 / V30 / A2 marks that matter for video recording and for running apps directly from the card. T9 is the fast card in the new range Samsung launched in 2026 to replace EVO Plus, PRO Plus and PRO Ultimate. It takes over the position PRO Ultimate held, at the same 200 MB/s read and 130 MB/s write. Two things worth stating openly rather than burying: the T-series carries a 3-year manufacturer warranty where PRO Ultimate carried 10, and 512 GB is the top of the T9 line — if you want 1 TB in a Samsung microSD, that is a T7. It measures 15 × 11 × 1 mm and weighs about 0.25 g. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.

Compatibility — check before buying:
The rated read speed needs the right reader. Samsung reaches 200 MB/s over UHS-I DDR200, a Samsung extension to the UHS-I bus rather than a standard mode — its own footnote says the figure is achieved “using Samsung readers”. In an ordinary phone, camera, laptop or card reader slot the bus tops out at the standard UHS-I SDR104 rate of about 104 MB/s, and that is what you will see. The card is fully compatible either way; only the headline number changes.

Best For

✓ 4K and 8K video in an action camera or drone
✓ A long shoot where you empty the card through a fast reader
✓ A large game library on a handheld console
✓ Android phones and tablets that run apps from the card

Key Features

200 MB/s read, 130 MB/s write
T9 matches the fastest microSD Samsung has made and sits above T7’s 170 MB/s. As with every card in the range, the read figure needs a DDR200-capable Samsung reader — see the compatibility note above, because it is the one thing people misread about these cards.

512 GB is the top of this line
T9 stops at 512 GB. The slower T7 goes to 1 TB, which is counter-intuitive — the mainstream line has the larger ceiling, not the fast one. If you need maximum capacity, you are buying a T7.

The write figure is published here
A small point of confidence: Samsung publishes 130 MB/s sequential write in the T9 datasheet, having removed the equivalent row from the T7 datasheet. Where a figure is documented we say so, and where it has been withdrawn we say that too.

U3, V30 and A2 at every capacity
The full set of marks, unchanged across the line. V30 guarantees a sustained 30 MB/s write floor for 4K recording; A2 covers random access when Android runs apps directly from the card.

Three years, not ten
Worth hearing from us rather than discovering later. Samsung warrants T9 for 3 years; PRO Ultimate was warranted for 10. If warranty length is your deciding factor, remaining PRO Ultimate stock is currently the stronger buy at the same speed.

Box Contents Not published by Samsung. Neither the EU product pages nor the datasheet states whether an SD adapter is included with this part number. A footnote limiting adapter warranty to 1 year does appear, but no adapter is listed as supplied — we read that as boilerplate and will not claim one either way. Ask us before ordering if the adapter matters.
Speed & Classes

Warranty
Warranty 1-Year Warranty (Singular)
Samsung Term Samsung publishes a 3-year limited warranty on T-series cards (1 year on an SD adapter). Note this is shorter than the 10 years carried by the EVO Plus, PRO Plus and PRO Ultimate lines it replaces. Samsung’s own term is stated here for information; Singular’s direct warranty is 1 year.
Important Exclusion Samsung’s memory-card warranty expressly does not cover dashcam, CCTV, surveillance or other write-intensive continuous-recording use. For those, a PRO Endurance card is the correct product.
Not Published by Samsung
Endurance / TBW Not published. Samsung publishes no terabytes-written or lifespan figure for this line. The 10,000 figure above is insertion cycles.
Random IOPS Not published. The A1/A2 marks imply SD Association minimums, but Samsung publishes no IOPS numbers of its own.
Other Omissions NAND type and layer count, controller, MTBF and UBER are not published.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the same as a Samsung T9 portable SSD?
No. Samsung also sells a T9 Portable SSD, a pocket drive with a USB-C cable. This is a microSD card that shares the name. The part number tells you which is which: MB- is a memory card, MU- is an SSD.
Which goes higher, T7 or T9?
T7. It runs to 1 TB; T9 stops at 512 GB. T9 is the faster card at 200 MB/s against 170, but if you want the biggest microSD Samsung makes, it is a T7.
Will I really get 200 MB/s?
Only through a reader supporting Samsung’s DDR200 mode. In a phone, camera, console or standard laptop slot the card runs at roughly 104 MB/s, the ceiling of the standard UHS-I bus. That is the bus, not the card.
Why is the warranty only 3 years?
That is Samsung’s published term for the T-series. It is shorter than the 10 years on PRO Ultimate, which is a genuine change and not a listing error. Singular’s own direct warranty is 1 year either way.
Does it include an SD adapter?
Samsung does not publish box contents for this part number, so we will not claim it either way. Ask us and we will check the box before shipping.
Singular Expert Insight
T9 is the card to buy if you genuinely move large files off a card with a proper reader — 200 MB/s over DDR200 is roughly double what the standard UHS-I bus allows, and on a 512 GB card that is real time saved. If the card is going to live inside a phone or a Switch and rarely come out, you are paying for a headline you will never see, and T7 or an EVO Plus will behave identically. Two figures worth comparing before you decide: the warranty, where remaining PRO Ultimate stock offers the same 200/130 MB/s with a 10-year term against T9’s 3; and the ceiling, where T7 reaches 1 TB and T9 does not. Browse our SD and microSD card range, or a card reader if you want the rated speed on a laptop.

Buyer’s Guide

Buy it if

You want the fastest microSD Samsung currently sells at a large capacity, you shoot 4K or 8K, and you routinely empty the card through a DDR200-capable reader.

Skip it if

The card will simply live inside a phone or console (T7 or EVO Plus will feel the same), you want 1 TB (that is a T7), or you want the longest manufacturer cover.

Also consider

T7 at 170 MB/s and up to 1 TB, remaining PRO Ultimate stock for the 10-year warranty at the same speed, or PRO Endurance if the card is going into a recorder.
