The Samsung Silicone Magnet Case (EF-EF976CVEGWW) is Samsung’s own semi-transparent silicone case for the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, in Violet Shadow. A magnet array moulded into the back aligns the phone on a wireless charger and holds Samsung’s magnetic accessories — grips, wallets, battery packs and car mounts — with no separate adapter ring. The pack is not case-only: Samsung includes two anti-reflecting screen films and the kit to fit them.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This case fits the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra (SM-F976) and nothing else. It will not fit the Galaxy Z Fold8 (SM-F971): the two are different shapes, folded 72.8 x 158.4 mm against folded 81.9 x 123.9 mm when closed, so neither case can be forced onto the other phone. It will not fit a Galaxy Z Fold7 or Fold6 either — those carry almost identical Samsung accessory codes with one digit changed, and the same case names. Check the model number in Settings before you order. Samsung also publishes a magnet safety note with this case: it contains magnets, so keep at least 15 cm between it and any implantable medical device, and keep credit cards and hotel keycards away from the magnetic area.
