The Samsung Silicone Magnet Case (EF-ES948CVEGWW) is Samsung’s own soft-touch silicone case for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, in Blue Violet. Magnets moulded into the back align the phone on a wireless charger and hold Samsung’s magnetic accessories — grips, wallets, battery packs, chargers and car mounts — without sticking a metal ring to the phone. It adds 36 g and a little over 2 mm of thickness.

Compatibility — check before buying:
This case fits the Galaxy S26 Ultra (SM-S948) only. It will not fit the Galaxy S26 (SM-S942) or the Galaxy S26+ (SM-S947), which are shorter phones — the S26 case measures 73.6 x 151.5 mm against this one’s 81.6 x 167.1 mm. It will not fit a Galaxy S25 Ultra either; Samsung’s accessory codes for the previous generation differ by only a few characters and carry identical names. Check the model number in Settings before ordering. Samsung publishes a magnet safety note with this case: it contains magnets, so keep at least 15 cm from implantable medical devices, and be aware that magnetic accessories may interfere with the S Pen, camera autofocus, the compass, wireless charging and NFC.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it fit my Galaxy S26 or S26+?
No. This case is cut for the Galaxy S26 Ultra only. The S26 is a much smaller phone — its case measures 73.6 x 151.5 mm against this one’s 81.6 x 167.1 mm — and the S26+ sits between them. Samsung sells a separate case for each. Open Settings, About phone, and check for SM-S948 before you order.
Is this MagSafe or Qi2 certified?
Samsung’s UK business listing describes the case as having an integrated magnet for Qi2 wireless charging and magnet accessories; its consumer pages say only “built-in magnets”, and no certification number is published. Samsung never uses the word MagSafe. What the magnets do for certain is align the phone on a wireless charger and hold magnetic grips, wallets, battery packs and car mounts. If you already own a particular magnetic mount, tell us which and we will try it before you commit.
Does it get in the way of the S Pen?
Samsung’s own note says magnetic accessories may interfere with the S Pen, along with camera autofocus, the compass, wireless charging and NFC. That is a caution about accessories attached to the magnets rather than about the case on its own. If you use the S Pen constantly and notice anything odd, take the magnetic attachment off first.
What comes in the box?
The case and a quick start guide — nothing else. There is no screen protector and no charger. Samsung sells this Silicone Magnet Case for the S26 Ultra in Black, Grey, Light Blue, White, Blue Violet and Coral Red, all with the same fit, so the choice is purely colour.
Singular Expert Insight
Samsung’s own silicone case is the safe choice in the first months of a new flagship, simply because the cutouts are made against the real phone rather than a leaked drawing. On the S26 Ultra the magnets are the reason to pay for it: a car mount, a wallet or a battery pack attaches directly, and the phone drops onto a wireless charger in the right position without being nudged. What you are not buying is armour — Samsung publishes no drop rating for this case, so if the phone gets dropped on concrete regularly you want a rugged case instead. Two ordering notes. The S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra all take different cases, and the codes differ by a few characters. And Samsung sells a Clear Case for the same phone with no magnets at all, plus a Clear Magnet Case that has them — if magnets are why you are buying, the part number matters.
