SanDisk Cruzer Blade 32 GB — Electric Green
32 GBUSB 2.0 Type-A41.5 x 17.6 x 7.4 mm2.5 g
The SanDisk Cruzer Blade is a 32 GB USB 2.0 flash drive in Electric Green, part number SDCZ50C-032G-B35GE — a small, inexpensive stick for carrying documents, photos and coursework between computers. It plugs straight into a standard rectangular USB-A port, needs no drivers or software on Windows, macOS or Linux, and is barely bigger than a house key. We list the colour as our supplier states it; SanDisk itself does not publish a colour name for this part, so if the exact shade matters to you, ask us before you order. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This drive has a USB-A plug only. It will not plug into a phone or a tablet, and it will not fit a USB-C-only laptop without a separate adapter or hub. It is a USB 2.0 drive, so it works in any USB socket but does not run faster in a USB 3.0 one. There is no cap to lose — the connector is part of the moulded body.
Best For
✓ Carrying documents, spreadsheets and presentations between home, school and the office
✓ A cheap spare stick to keep in a bag, a drawer or the car
✓ Handing files to someone who is unlikely to give the drive back
✓ Printing at a photo kiosk or copy shop that accepts USB sticks
✓ Older desktops, TVs, car stereos and printers with a USB-A socket
✓ A first flash drive for a student, where price matters more than speed
Key Features
Plug it in and it works
No drivers, no setup, nothing to install. Windows, macOS and Linux all mount it as an ordinary removable drive, and so do most TVs, car stereos and printers that have a USB-A socket.
Small enough to forget it is there
41.5 mm long and 2.5 g — about the size and weight of a house key. The connector is moulded into the body, so there is no cap to lose.
USB 2.0 — what that means for you
USB 2.0 is roughly five times slower than USB 3.0. Documents, spreadsheets and photos copy in moments; a film or a folder of video files takes noticeably longer. If you move large video regularly, buy a USB 3.0 drive instead.
32 GB of everyday room
Enough for roughly 8,000 to 10,000 phone photos, or about eight hours of 1080p video. That is our own estimate — the real figure depends on your camera and its settings.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this work with my phone?
No. It has a single USB-A plug and no USB-C or micro-USB end, so it cannot be connected to a phone or a tablet. If you want a drive that works with both a phone and a computer, look at the SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go or Dual Drive Luxe, which have a USB-C connector at one end.
How fast is it?
SanDisk does not publish a read or write speed for the Cruzer Blade, so we will not quote one. What we can tell you is that it is USB 2.0, which in practice is around five times slower than a USB 3.0 drive. Fine for documents and photos, slow for video.
Will it fit my laptop?
It needs a full-size rectangular USB-A port. Most desktops and older laptops have one. Many recent thin laptops, and every MacBook since 2016, have only USB-C sockets and would need an adapter.
Is 32 GB the right size for me?
For documents, coursework and photo transfers, comfortably. Tell us what you plan to carry and we will tell you whether this or the larger version is the sensible buy.
Singular Expert Insight
The Cruzer Blade is the cheapest drive on the shelf, and that is exactly its job — a spare stick you would not be upset to lend or lose. What you give up is speed. The SanDisk Ultra Flair and Ultra Luxe in our
USB flash drives range are USB 3.0 and 3.2 and read several times faster for a few euro more. If the drive is really destined for a camera, a dashcam or a phone rather than a laptop, a card from our
SD cards range is the better buy. Choose the Blade when price and pocketability matter more than transfer time.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want a cheap, tiny 32 GB stick for documents and photos, your computer has a normal rectangular USB-A port, and you are happy with USB 2.0 speed.
Skip it if
You move video or large folders regularly, your laptop has only USB-C sockets, or you want to plug the drive into a phone. Any of those points you at a different drive.
Also consider
SanDisk Ultra Flair 32GB for the same room at USB 3.0 speed in a metal body, or a SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go if you need the drive to work with a USB-C phone as well as a computer.
