SanDisk Extreme PRO 64GB SDXC UHS-II — V90, up to 300 MB/s
V90 video classUp to 300 MB/sUHS-II bus64 GB SDXC
The SanDisk Extreme PRO 64GB SDXC card, part number SDSDXDM-064G-GN4IN, is the V90 tier of SanDisk UHS-II range — the highest video speed class the SD standard defines. SanDisk quotes up to 300 MB/s transfer for it. V90 guarantees at least 90 MB/s of sustained write, and it is the class that professional and cinema-oriented cameras name when nothing lower will do.
Compatibility — check before buying:
V90 and V60 are different cards with almost the same part number. This card, SDSDXDM, is V90. The SDSDXEP card is V60, reads 280 MB/s and writes 100. They share the Extreme PRO name, the UHS-II bus and the same GN4IN suffix, so the only thing distinguishing them on a shelf is the class badge — and a camera that names V90 will not accept the V60 card. UHS-II needs a UHS-II host: the card fits any SD slot but falls back to roughly 100 MB/s in a UHS-I camera or reader. SanDisk states a single up-to-300 MB/s transfer figure for this card rather than separate read and write numbers, so that is what this page publishes. In the box: the card alone.
Best For
✓ Cameras whose manual names V90
✓ High-bitrate and cinema-oriented video
✓ Sustained recording where a dropped frame is a reshoot
✓ Fast offload between takes with a UHS-II reader
✓ Professional bodies with UHS-II slots
✓ Short clips at very high bitrates
Key Features
V90 is the top of the SD video classes
The Video Speed Class scale runs V6, V10, V30, V60 and V90, and each number is a guaranteed minimum sustained write in MB/s. V90 promises at least 90 MB/s no matter how full or fragmented the card is. Cameras that name it do so because an average speed is not enough — a single dip drops frames.
UHS-II is a bus change, not a tuning change
A UHS-I card is limited to 104 MB/s by the interface itself. UHS-II adds a second row of physical pins and raises the ceiling properly, which is how this card reaches its quoted figures in a compatible host rather than through a manufacturer-specific transfer mode.
64 GB is a deliberate size at these bitrates
At the data rates that make V90 necessary, a card fills quickly, and professionals commonly rotate several smaller cards through an offload station rather than filling one large one. A 64 GB card is a contained clip and a contained risk.
RescuePRO Deluxe included for two years
SanDisk bundles a two-year RescuePRO Deluxe recovery offer with this card. On professional work that is worth registering when the card arrives rather than after a formatting mistake on location.

Singular Expert Insight
Two cards on this page are Extreme PRO UHS-II with the same GN4IN suffix, and they are not interchangeable: this one is V90, the other is V60. A camera that specifies V90 rejects the V60 card, and nothing about the packaging makes that obvious, which is why we name both part numbers here. Beyond that, the standard UHS-II caution applies — the speed exists only in a UHS-II camera or reader, and in a UHS-I body this behaves like a good UHS-I card at a considerably higher price. If your camera asks only for V30, the Extreme PRO UHS-I cards cost far less and perform identically in it. If it asks for V90, budget for a UHS-II reader as well.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
Your camera manual names V90, or you shoot high-bitrate video where a guaranteed 90 MB/s sustained write is the requirement rather than a preference.
Skip it if
Your camera asks for V30 or V60 — buy the card that matches rather than paying above it. Skip it too if your camera is UHS-I, where the extra pins go unused.
Also consider
The V60 version, SDSDXEP, costs less and is what most 6K modes ask for. For UHS-I cameras, the Extreme PRO SDXC at 200 MB/s read is the right card.
