The package lists the SSD itself; a compatible SATA host and suitable 7mm bay are required, and any additional migration cable or hardware is sold separately.

Before you order:
Check that the computer accepts a 2.5-inch SATA drive and has the required power/data connection and mounting space. This is not an M.2 NVMe module or a ready-made USB external drive. Performance depends on the host, workload, capacity and operating conditions; the 6Gb/s interface figure is not a sustained file-copy speed.

  • SanDisk Dashboard is a separate Windows-only download for monitoring the SSD and its performance/storage information. It does not turn the SATA drive into a USB device or remove the need for backups.
  • The 500GB variant has 300TBW endurance and up to 510MB/s write performance. Do not substitute the family headline values for the 4TB model. MTTF is statistical, not a promise that an individual drive will last that many hours.
