Sharkoon 1337 V2 Gaming Mat — Size Big, 1200 x 600 mm, Black
1200 x 600 mmStitched edgesWater repellent1235 g
This is the largest mat in the 1337 V2 range and the only one that changes construction: 1200 x 600 mm at 2.5 mm, weighing 1235 g, and — uniquely in the series — with stitched edges. Sharkoon’s own wording is that the edges are stitched so that even the largest mouse mat of the series has a neat and tidy outline. The surface is textile with a water-repellent finish, the base is non-slip rubber, and at this size it covers a whole desk rather than a corner of one. Black, undecorated, no lighting.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The size is the whole point and the whole risk: 1200 mm wide by 600 mm deep is larger than many desks are deep, so measure before ordering — on a 600 mm-deep desk it will fit exactly and on anything shallower it will hang off the front. It is the only size in the 1337 V2 family with stitched edges; the M, L, XL and XXL are all laser cut, so do not carry the wording between sizes. At 2.5 mm it lies flat and gives no cushioning, and there is no wrist rest. Sharkoon publishes a water-repellent surface but no machine-washing instruction for the Big, and it does not classify the surface as speed or control.
Best For
✓ Deep desks that can take a 600 mm mat
✓ Setups where the whole desk should be one surface
✓ Low-sensitivity players who sweep widely
✓ Anyone who specifically wants a stitched border
✓ Optical and laser gaming mice
✓ Desks whose own surface tracks badly
Key Features
The only stitched size
Sharkoon stitches the Big and laser-cuts every smaller size — if a sewn border is what you want from this family, this is the one.
A whole desk of surface
1200 x 600 mm covers a standard desk end to end, so the mouse never runs off an edge and the keyboard never slides on bare wood.
Water repellent
A published water-repellent surface, so a knocked drink sits on top long enough to wipe away instead of soaking straight through.
It stays put
A non-slip rubber base holding down 1235 g of mat — at this size and weight it simply does not move.

Singular Expert Insight
If you want the whole desk covered and a sewn border, this is the only mat in the 1337 range that gives you both — the smaller sizes are laser cut. Just be honest with yourself about 600 mm of depth. See our mouse pads and wrist rests and our wired mice.
