The Smart Keeper MSD04P1GN is a pack of ten green Micro SD Port Locks from Smart Keeper’s Essential Mini series — locks only, without a key. Each lock pushes into an unused microSD card slot by hand, with no tools, software or power, and can only be taken out again with the Smart Keeper Lock Key Mini (Essential Mini series). In practice it stops a memory card being inserted to copy data in or out, and keeps an unused slot closed on shared, public and company equipment, and a coloured lock shows at a glance which ports are controlled. Smart Keeper sells the locks in colour-coded versions, so different teams or areas can be marked apart.

Compatibility — check before buying:
No key in this pack: Smart Keeper sells this 10-lock pack without the key. You need the Smart Keeper Lock Key Mini (Essential Mini series), sold separately, or the MSD04PK set, which comes with a key — without one, fitted locks cannot be removed. It is for microSD slots only — full-size SD card slots need Smart Keeper’s separate SD Port Lock. The Essential Mini locks are not the same system as Smart Keeper’s Professional Mini range (for example CSK-MSD04), which uses a different key, so do not mix the two. Not sure your port takes it? No. This is the 10-lock pack without a key. You need the Smart Keeper Lock Key Mini (Essential Mini series), sold separately, or the MSD04PK set, which includes a key. Order the key together with the locks if you do not have one.
Which ports does it fit?
It is made for microSD card slots on laptops, tablets, cameras, dashcams and embedded devices. It is for microSD slots only — full-size SD card slots need Smart Keeper’s separate SD Port Lock. Send us the device model if in doubt.
Does the Mini key open other Smart Keeper locks?
The Lock Key Mini is made for the Essential Mini series. Smart Keeper’s Basic locks use the Lock Key Basic and the Professional range uses its own keys, so keep to one series per installation.
Can the lock be removed without the key?
It is designed to stay in the port until released with the matching key. That is what stops casual use — so keep at least one key with IT.
