STAEDTLER Noris colour 185 M36 is a metal case of 36 hexagonal coloured pencils in assorted colours, for school, hobby colouring and office work such as marking plans and charts.
STAEDTLER makes the Noris colour pencil from upcycled wood chips with wood from PEFC-certified forests. The leads are rich in colour, glide smoothly on a velvet-soft, non-slip surface and are designed for high break resistance — useful with children who drop their pencils.
What's in the Box
- 36x STAEDTLER Noris colour 185 coloured pencils, assorted colours
- 1x metal case
What It Means in Practice
- 36 shades give enough range for shading and realistic colouring, beyond the basic 12- or 24-colour sets.
- The metal case protects the pencils in a school bag and keeps them sorted on the desk.
- Break-resistant leads mean fewer broken tips and less resharpening.
- Conforms to EN 71 (toy safety), relevant for school and child use.
What Will Not Work
- Watercolour effects — these are dry coloured pencils, not watercolour pencils.
- Jumbo-size sharpeners only — they are standard-diameter pencils; STAEDTLER recommends the Noris 512 002 and 512 128 sharpeners.
- Choosing individual colours — the case holds a fixed 36-colour assortment.
