The StarTech.com HB31C5A2CME is the seven-port industrial 10 Gbps hub that comes complete: a steel case with a DIN mounting kit, five USB-A and two USB-C ports, a 65 W adapter wired to a terminal block, locking host cables for USB-C and USB-A computers, and 40 W of charging across the ports. It is for machine vision, logging and test benches that outgrew a four-port hub.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The two USB-C ports are data and charging only — no Power Delivery to a laptop, no video. Bandwidth is 10 Gbps shared across the seven ports. StarTech quotes 12 W (2.4 A) on any port but a 40 W total draw, so seven phones at 12 W at once is not possible. The adapter connects through the 2-wire terminal block; the same block accepts a 7–24 V DC panel supply instead. Operating range 0–55 °C.
