The StarTech.com USB2CC3MNCBRWH is a 3 m white USB-C to USB-C charging cable, rated for 60W (3A) USB Power Delivery and USB 2.0 data, for charging laptops, tablets and phones from a USB-C charger, dock or monitor.
Three metres reaches from a wall socket to a bed, sofa or meeting-room table, and the dual-layer jacket — a TPE core with a braided nylon outer sleeve — keeps a long cable from kinking. The nickel-plated connectors are rated for more than 10,000 insertions.
Before you order: This is a charging and USB 2.0 sync cable. It does not carry video (DisplayPort Alt Mode is not supported) and it is limited to 60W, so it is not the right cable for a USB-C monitor or a laptop that needs more than 60W.

What It Means in Practice
- Laptops: charges USB-C laptops that run from a 45W–65W charger, such as ultrabooks and MacBook Air; bigger laptops still charge, but at no more than 60W.
- Phones and tablets: fast-charges USB-C phones (including iPhone 15 and later) and iPads with a USB-C PD charger.
- Data: syncs photos and files at USB 2.0 speed (480Mbps) — fine for phones, slow for large video files or SSDs.
- Length: 3 m gives freedom of movement while charging, but leave it loosely coiled rather than tightly wound when stored.
What Will Not Work
- No video: it will not connect a laptop to a USB-C monitor or a USB-C to HDMI adapter.
- Not for laptops that need more than 60W — a 100W or 140W charger is limited to 60W through this cable.
- Not for fast external SSDs: USB 2.0 caps transfers at 480Mbps.
- It does not fit USB-A chargers or ports; both ends are USB-C.
