The StarTech.com NANOK-LAPTOP-LOCK is a keyed cable lock for laptops with a Nano security slot, for businesses that need to secure thin notebooks, 2-in-1s and Chromebooks against opportunistic theft in offices, classrooms and public areas.
Nano slots are much smaller than the classic K-Slot and appear on many current ultra-thin laptops — StarTech.com names HP EliteBook, Lenovo ThinkPad X1, Chromebooks and 2-in-1s. The lock head has an off-centre tip so a slim laptop still lies flat on the desk, and a ball joint lets the 2 m steel cable swivel 360° and pivot 90°.
Before you order: This lock fits the Nano security slot only. It will not lock into a standard K-Slot (T-bar) or a Dell/Noble wedge slot. If you are not sure which slot your laptop has, send us the model — or choose a 3-in-1 universal lock.
