StarTech DK30A2DHUUE — Hybrid USB-C / USB-A Dual 4K 60Hz Docking Station
Dual 4K 60Hz (DisplayLink)USB-C or USB-A hostDual display on Mac6x USB-A + GbE
The StarTech DK30A2DHUUE (part number DK30A2DHUUE) is a hybrid universal docking station that connects to both USB-C and USB-A laptops and drives two 4K 60Hz displays over HDMI and DisplayPort, adding six USB-A ports, Gigabit Ethernet and audio — built for mixed fleets that need reliable dual-monitor docking across almost any laptop. Because it uses DisplayLink, it delivers true dual extended displays even on MacBooks, including Apple M1 and M2 models. Note it is a data-and-video dock only: it does not charge the laptop. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility & setup
Video runs over DisplayLink (DL-6950 chipset), so a free one-time DisplayLink driver install is required on Windows or macOS. In return it supports dual 4K 3840x2160 at 60Hz (or a single 5K display using both DisplayPorts), including full dual extended displays on Intel and Apple M1/M2 Macs, which standard USB-C MST docks cannot do. Two host cables are included — USB-C-to-USB-B and USB-A-to-USB-B — so it works with USB-C or USB-A laptops. Important: this dock has no USB-C Power Delivery and does not charge the laptop; the included 40W adapter powers the dock only.
Best For
✓Mixed fleets of USB-C and older USB-A laptops
✓Mac users needing true dual 4K displays
✓Dual-monitor office and hot-desk setups
✓Deployments where laptops charge from their own adapter
✓Wired Gigabit networking and many USB devices
✓Upright, space-saving desk placement (stand included)

Truly Universal Host
Included USB-C-to-USB-B and USB-A-to-USB-B cables let one dock serve both modern USB-C and older USB-A laptops across the whole fleet.
Six USB-A + Gigabit

Singular Expert Insight
This hybrid dock earns its place in mixed-fleet offices: DisplayLink gives dual 4K on Macs (M1/M2 included) and Windows alike, and the twin host cables cover both USB-C and USB-A laptops. The one thing to plan for is charging — it has no Power Delivery, so laptops keep using their own adapters. If you need the dock to also charge the laptop, choose a USB-C PD dock such as the Targus DOCK310 instead. Browse the full laptop docking stations range, and pair it with our PC monitors.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You need dual 4K on a mix of USB-C and USB-A laptops (Macs included) and your laptops charge from their own adapters.
Skip it if
You want the dock to charge your laptop over USB-C — this model has no Power Delivery.
Also consider
The Targus DOCK310 (DisplayLink + 65W charging) if you need the dock to power the laptop too.
