A compact aluminium arm with a ten-year warranty and a 14 kg rating — higher than most single arms of its size. It supports curved and ultrawide panels as published specifications, weighs only 2.5 kg itself, and ships in silver rather than the usual black. Both a clamp and a grommet fixing are included.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The screen size needs care, because StarTech states it two ways for two different panels. The published maximum is 30 inches for a conventional 16:9 display and 49 inches for a 32:9 ultrawide, which is a narrower and a wider figure respectively than the “34 inch” that circulates in catalogue data — that number appears in no StarTech document at all. Both curved and ultrawide are published as supported. The real limit is 14 kg. Displays mount to VESA 75 x 75 or 100 x 100, tilt from +90 to -15 degrees and rotate a full 360 for portrait. Movement is modest by design: 200 mm of lift and an arm that extends 210 mm, which suits a desk where the screen is set and left rather than pushed back and forth all day. Both fixings cover desks 20 to 60 mm thick, and the grommet takes a hole between 10 and 60 mm. One note on StarTech’s own data: its datasheet gives swivel as 180 degrees each way and its manual as 360; we publish the conservative 180.
