The StarTech.com RK219WALLV is a 2U, 19-inch vertical wall-mount bracket that holds patch panels and network equipment side-on against a wall, ceiling or the underside of a desk. It is made from steel in black, rated for 56.7 kg, and compliant with EIA/ECA-310-E.
Because the equipment sits vertically, the bracket sticks out only about 150 mm from the wall, which makes it a good fit for narrow corridors, cupboards and small comms points. The L-shaped, 2-post open frame design comes ready to mount, with no assembly required.
Before you order: This bracket uses square holes with M5 cage nuts and M5 screws. If your equipment came with M6 hardware, you will need M5 screws or tell us and we will advise. Mounting is vertical, so the equipment faces sideways, not outwards.

What It Means in Practice
- Vertical mounting keeps the bracket shallow, around 150 mm off the wall, so it does not block a corridor or cupboard.
- Two rack units take a patch panel and a small switch, or two patch panels.
- The high 56.7 kg rating means the bracket is rarely the limit. The wall and fixings usually are.
- The supplied wood screws suit timber or studs. For masonry use suitable anchors.
What Will Not Work
- StarTech.com does not publish a maximum equipment depth, so very deep switches may not suit side-on mounting. Send us the model first.
- It does not use M6 cage nuts out of the box. It comes with M5 hardware.
- It is an open frame with no lock or cover.
- It is not the horizontal 2U wall rack (RACK-2U-14-BRACKET), where equipment faces outwards.
