The StarTech.com CABSHELFHD is a 2U heavy-duty cantilever shelf for 19-inch server racks and network cabinets, 457 mm deep with a 56 kg static load rating, for anyone who needs to put a desktop PC, NAS, modem, small UPS or other non-rackmount device into a rack.

Cantilever means the shelf fixes to the front rails only and extends backwards unsupported, so it works in 2-post and 4-post racks and cabinets alike, without rear rails or depth adjustment. The tray is 457 mm deep with a 443 mm usable width, and it has lips at the front and rear so equipment does not slide off.

• 457 mm of depth fits most small-form-factor PCs, NAS units, routers and ISP modems.
