The StarTech.com DKT31CHPD3 is a 4-in-1 USB-C multiport adapter for laptops, tablets, MacBooks, Chromebooks and USB-C systems that need HDMI display output, fast USB expansion and charging passthrough from one USB-C or Thunderbolt 3/4 port. It supports HDMI 2.0b output up to 4K 4096×2160 at 60Hz with HDR10, one USB-A 10Gbps port with BC 1.2 charging, one USB-C 10Gbps data port and one shared USB-C 10Gbps / 100W Power Delivery port.
Compatibility Note: For HDMI output, the host USB-C port must support DisplayPort Alternate Mode. For 4K 60Hz, StarTech specifies DP 1.4 Alt Mode host support; DP 1.2 hosts may be limited to 4K 30Hz. For charging passthrough, the host device must support USB-C Power Delivery and a compatible USB-C charger is required.
