Managed Gigabit access with four 10G SFP+ uplinks
16 Gigabit RJ45 +4SFP+112Gbps switchingStack up to9 unitsFanless / non-PoE
The D-Link DGS-1530-20/E is a stackable smart managed switch with16 Gigabit RJ45 ports and four10G SFP+ slots. Its112Gbps switching capacity, VLAN and access-control features support structured business networks. Physical stacking and optional redundant power help build a scalable installation, while the compact fanless enclosure suits desktop or19-inch rack deployment.
Best For: Office, campus and business access networks that need managed Gigabit copper connections,10G uplinks and room to grow through compatible stacking.
Before you order: This is the non-PoE model. Provide power separately for connected endpoints. SFP+ transceivers or DACs, stacking connections and any redundant power unit must be selected separately for compatible hardware and firmware. Stacking uses the SFP+ ports, reducing those available for ordinary uplinks. Configuration is needed to use managed functions.
What's in the Box
- D-Link DGS-1530-20/E switch.
- AC power cord and power-cord retainer set.
- RJ45-to-RS232 console cable, four adhesive rubber feet and a mounting kit with two brackets and screws.
- Quick installation guide. Optical modules, DACs and optional redundant power supply are not listed as included.
What It Means in Practice
- Connect end devices through16 auto-negotiating10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 ports.
- Use compatible SFP/SFP+ modules or DACs for the four uplink slots, following the supported-module list.
- Configure VLANs, QoS, ACLs and802.1X policies to match the network design.
- Plan stacking and uplink port allocation together, and verify firmware compatibility before adding stack members.
What Will Not Work
- No PoE output,Wi-Fi or native10G RJ45 access ports are provided.
- Physical stacking requires additional compatible switches and cabling; support for nine units does not mean nine are supplied.
- Static IPv4/IPv6 routing does not imply a full-featured enterprise router or firewall.
- Redundant-power support does not include the external RPS unit.
Key Features
Sixteen Gigabit access ports
Sixteen copper ports plus four SFP+ slots provide20 data connections in total.
Four10G uplink slots
Choose supported transceivers or DACs;1G SFP backward compatibility is described in the hardware guide.
Managed network control
VLANs, link aggregation, spanning tree, QoS and authentication support a configured network design.
Stackable fanless design
Up to nine compatible units in a physical stack, with ring or chain topology and up to80Gbps stacking bandwidth per device.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is it called16-port when there are20 data interfaces?
D-Link describes sixteen Gigabit copper access ports plus four additional10G SFP+ uplinks. Both groups are included in the hardware.
Does it power IP cameras by PoE?
No. DGS-1530-20/E is the non-PoE model; use separate suitable power or another PoE solution.
Are optical modules included?
They are not in the hardware guide’s package list. Choose compatible modules or DACs separately.
Are all four uplinks free when stacking?
Stacking uses two or four SFP+ ports according to configuration. Plan the remaining uplinks accordingly.
Is redundant power included?
No. A validated compatible external RPS is an optional separate component.
Singular Expert Insight
This switch is useful where managed Gigabit access needs faster uplinks and a growth path. The practical planning points are SFP+ port allocation, compatible optics or DACs, correct firmware and separate endpoint power on this non-PoE model.
