Targus DOCK419 — slim USB-C dock with HDMI or VGA and 100W pass-through charging
HDMI 4K30 or VGAGigabit LAN100W PD pass-thruPlug & play
The Targus USB-C DP Alt Mode Single Video 4K HDMI/VGA Docking Station with 100W PD Pass-Thru (DOCK419EUZ) is a compact portable dock with an attached cable that connects one HDMI or VGA display, Gigabit Ethernet and three USB ports to a USB-C laptop. It is designed for hot-desking and travel, especially for laptops that have only one USB-C port.
Power comes from your own USB-C charger: plug it into the dock and up to 100W passes through to the laptop, with PD 3.0 Fast Role Swap to avoid interruptions. No software is needed on Windows, macOS or Chrome OS.
Before you order: The laptop’s USB-C port must support DisplayPort Alt Mode (Thunderbolt 3 ports also work). Only one screen can be used — HDMI or VGA, not both. No power adapter is included.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
The DOCK419 is a neat answer for thin laptops with a single USB-C port: you get a screen, network and USB without losing charging. It is a one-screen, travel-first dock, so for dual monitors at a fixed desk look at our other
docking stations.
✓ Buy it if you want a light USB-C dock with HDMI or VGA, Gigabit LAN and 100W pass-through charging.
✕ Skip it if you need two monitors or 4K at 60 Hz.
→ Also consider a dual-display USB-C dock for permanent desk setups.
