Targus Field-Ready Case for Galaxy Tab Active Pro and Tab Active4 Pro

Tab Active Pro / Active4 ProMIL-STD-810GHand strapBlack

The Targus Field-Ready case THD501GLZ is a rugged two-piece back cover for the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro and Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro (10.1-inch), tested to MIL-STD-810G for 1.2 m (4 ft) drops. It is designed for field service, logistics and healthcare teams who use the tablet one-handed all day.

An over-molded shell with shock-absorbing TPU edges protects the corners, and a sliding handle with a detachable hand strap gives a secure grip and doubles as a typing angle.

Before you order: This case fits only the Galaxy Tab Active Pro and Tab Active4 Pro. The Tab Active5 Pro, Tab Active5, Tab Active3 and Tab Active2 need different Targus cases. Check the model name on the back label before ordering.

What's in the Box

  • 1 x Targus Field-Ready case (two-piece, with hand strap)
  • Tablet, stylus and cradle are not included

What It Means in Practice

  • TPU edges absorb shock; the case is third-party tested to MIL-STD-810G 516.6 Procedure IV from 1.2 m.
  • The hand strap lets you hold the tablet securely while scanning or entering data.
  • The sliding handle tilts the tablet to a comfortable typing angle on a desk.
  • A clear rear window holds an asset tag; a built-in holder keeps the stylus with the tablet.

What Will Not Work

  • It will not fit the Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro, Tab Active5, Tab Active3 or Tab Active2.
  • It does not cover the screen; add a screen protector if needed.
  • It does not make the tablet waterproof beyond the tablet's own rating.
