Targus VersaVu Case for iPad (10th gen) and iPad (A16) - Black
360° rotatingDrop tested 1.2 mPencil holderiPad 10th gen / A16
The Targus VersaVu THZ935GL is a protective folio case for the iPad (10th generation) 10.9-inch and the iPad (A16), with a patented 360° rotating tray so the iPad can stand in portrait or landscape. It suits classrooms, offices and anyone who switches between video calls, reading and on-screen writing.
The cover wakes and sleeps the iPad, closes magnetically and flips back to a typing angle, while reinforced corners and a third-party drop test to MIL-STD-810G (1.2 m) add real protection compared with thin folios.
Before you order: Fits only the iPad (10th generation, 10.9-inch, 2022) and iPad (A16, 2025). It does not fit the iPad Air, iPad Pro or the older 10.2-inch iPad.
What's in the Box
- Targus VersaVu case for iPad 10.9-inch, Black (iPad and Pencil not included)
What It Means in Practice
- Rotate the iPad inside the case to switch between portrait (documents, reading) and landscape (video, calls) without taking it out.
- The cover folds into virtually any viewing angle, and flips back to a lower angle for writing on the screen.
- Closing the magnetic cover puts the iPad to sleep; opening it wakes the screen.
- Reinforced corners and the 1.2 m drop test make it a better choice for shared or school iPads than a thin cover.
What Will Not Work
- It will not fit iPad Air (any generation), iPad Pro or the 10.2-inch iPad (7th–9th generation).
- It does not include a keyboard; a separate Bluetooth keyboard can be used next to it, but not attached.
- It is not waterproof, and Targus tests drops only up to 1.2 m; it does not protect against liquids or higher falls.
- Targus does not state which Apple Pencil model charges in this case; the holder only stores the Pencil or a stylus.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
VersaVu is one of the few cases that lets an iPad stand in portrait mode, which makes a real difference for reading documents and video calls on a desk. The drop test and lifetime manufacturer term make it a sensible choice for business and school fleets; more cases in our iPad accessories.
✓ Buy it if you have an iPad 10th gen or iPad (A16) and want protection plus a portrait/landscape stand.
✕ Skip it if you want a keyboard case or the thinnest possible cover.
→ Also consider A keyboard folio if you type a lot, or a clear rugged case for the lightest protection.
