TELESTAR TOP 250 Wood — DAB+, FM & Internet Radio in Stereo

DAB+ / FM / InternetWi-Fi & BluetoothStereo 2 × 10 WRemote included

The TELESTAR TOP 250 Wood (part number 5701250) is a stereo table radio that combines DAB+, FM and internet radio over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi with Bluetooth, in a wood-look cabinet. Two 3-inch speakers deliver 10 W each, and a 2.4-inch colour TFT display, dimmable with a night mode, shows stations and clock. It stores 100 DAB+, 100 FM and 500 internet stations, with four direct buttons on the front and a remote control in the box. A USB 2.0 port plays and records music and charges a phone, a 3.5 mm AUX input connects another player, and there is a headphone jack, alarm clock, sleep timer and the Soundmate app for iOS and Android. In practice, it is a kitchen or living-room radio that reaches thousands of internet stations from around the world as well as local DAB+ and FM, controlled from the sofa or your phone.

Compatibility — check before buying:
It runs from the mains only — there is no battery. Internet radio needs 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. It is the stereo model (2 × 10 W, 27.6 cm wide) and uses a 15 V 1.5 A adapter; the TOP 200 is the mono version with a 1 A adapter, so they are not interchangeable. Check the code: 5701200 is the TOP 200 Wood and 5701250 the TOP 250 Wood. TELESTAR builds this model for the German market and does not state the plug type of the power adapter. Cyprus uses UK three-pin (BS 1363) sockets, so ask us and we confirm the plug and supply a suitable adapter if one is needed. DAB+ reception depends on transmitter coverage where you use it; where there is no DAB+ signal, FM still works. Not sure it suits your setup? Tell us how you want to use it and we check before you order.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it have a battery?
No. The TOP 250 runs from its external mains adapter only. For a battery radio, see the TOP 100.
What is the difference between the TOP 200 and TOP 250?
The TOP 200 is mono with one 10 W speaker and 19.1 cm wide. The TOP 250 is stereo with two 10 W speakers, 27.6 cm wide, and adds Journaline and Bluetooth send and receive.
Does internet radio need a subscription?
No subscription is needed for internet radio; it needs your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. The Soundmate app lets you control it from a phone.
Will the plug fit Cypriot sockets?
TELESTAR does not publish the plug type. Cyprus uses UK three-pin sockets, so ask us and we confirm and supply an adapter if needed.
Singular Expert Insight
The TOP 250 is the one we suggest when the radio is also the living-room music player: stereo sound, Bluetooth in both directions and UPnP make it more than a kitchen radio. For CD playback as well, step up to the TOP 300; for a radio you can carry, the TOP 100. Every order is backed by Singular’s local support in Cyprus. Browse our speakers and radios for more.
