Teltonika RUTX50 Industrial 5G Router
5G SA/NSA · up to 3.3 GbpsDual SIM auto-failover5x Gigabit + Wi-Fi 5GNSS · RutOS · RMS
The Teltonika RUTX50 is a dual-SIM industrial 5G router built for high-speed, data-heavy IoT, enterprise and mission-critical deployments. Identified by part number RUTX5000AC00, it delivers 5G Sub-6GHz in both SA and NSA modes at up to 3.3 Gbps download, with automatic failover between two SIM cards and backward compatibility to 4G LTE Cat 20 and 3G. A full five-port Gigabit Ethernet switch, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, GNSS positioning, a digital input/output and the complete RutOS feature set are packed into a rugged aluminium enclosure with a wide 9-50 V DC input and -40 to 75°C operating range. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Before You Buy
SIM cards are not included — the RUTX50 takes two Mini SIM (2FF) cards, and supported 5G/LTE bands vary by regional version, so confirm the variant matches your carrier. To reach full 5G speeds you need all four mobile antennas connected (4x4 MIMO). Its PoE is passive (Mode B, 9-30 V), not compatible with IEEE 802.3af/at/bt active PoE switches. The standard package includes an 18 W PSU, 4x mobile antennas, 2x Wi-Fi antennas, a GNSS antenna, an Ethernet cable, a SIM adapter kit and a quick start guide.
Best For
✓High-speed 5G primary or backup connectivity
✓Enterprise branch and failover WAN
✓Data-heavy IoT and edge computing
✓Transportation and mobile deployments (GNSS)
✓Industrial automation with Modbus and I/O
✓Secure multi-site VPN (WireGuard, IPsec, OpenVPN)
Key Features
5G Sub-6GHz SA & NSA
Delivers up to 3.3 Gbps download (4x4 MIMO) and 900 Mbps upload over 5G, with LTE Cat 20 and 3G fallback so sites stay online as networks evolve.
Dual SIM with Auto-Failover
Two Mini SIM slots switch automatically on weak signal, roaming, data or SMS limits, or network failure, giving carrier-level redundancy for critical links.
Gigabit Switch + Wi-Fi 5
Five 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet ports and dual-band 802.11ac Wave 2 Wi-Fi (up to 867 Mbps, 150 clients) provide fast wired and wireless connectivity for many devices.
GNSS, I/O & RutOS
Built-in GNSS (GPS/GLONASS/BeiDou/Galileo/QZSS), a digital input/output, USB 2.0, and the full RutOS + RMS platform make it a complete industrial gateway.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the RUTX50 include SIM cards?
No. You supply your own two Mini SIM (2FF) cards. Confirm the RUTX50 regional version supports your carrier's 5G and LTE bands before purchase.
Do I need all four mobile antennas?
Yes, for best performance. The RUTX50 uses 4x4 MIMO on 5G, so connecting all four supplied mobile antennas is recommended to reach the highest speeds and signal quality.
Can I power it over PoE?
It supports passive PoE (Mode B, 9-30 V) via LAN1, but it is not compatible with active IEEE 802.3af/at/bt PoE switches. Use a passive injector or the included 18 W PSU.
What is the difference between the RUTX50 and the RUT200?
The RUTX50 is a high-end 5G router with dual SIM, five Gigabit ports, Wi-Fi 5 and GNSS, whereas the RUT200 is a compact 4G LTE Cat 4 router with two 10/100 ports — the RUTX50 suits data-heavy and 5G deployments.
Singular Expert Insight
The RUTX50 is Teltonika's flagship 5G router and the right choice when you need genuine multi-gigabit cellular with carrier redundancy: dual-SIM auto-failover plus a Gigabit switch make it ideal for enterprise failover WAN and data-heavy edge sites. If 5G is not available in your area or budget is tight, the 4G RUTX11 or RUT241 cost less; for rack or high-port-count needs look at the RUTXR1. Explore more industrial
routers to match cellular category, ports and I/O to your project.
Buyer's Guide
Buy it if
You need high-speed 5G with dual-SIM redundancy, a Gigabit switch, Wi-Fi 5 and GNSS for demanding IoT, enterprise or mobile deployments.
Skip it if
You do not have 5G coverage or only need basic 4G connectivity — a cheaper RUTX11 or RUT241 will suffice.
Also consider
The 4G RUTX11 for lower cost, or the RUT241 for a compact dual-SIM 4G option.
