tesa Floorlaying Tape Removable (55731) is a double-sided, textile-reinforced tape for fixing carpets, rugs and PVC floor coverings, 10 m long and 50 mm wide, for homes, rented flats, offices and event spaces where the floor covering must hold firmly but come up again without leaving adhesive on the floor.

tesa states it can be used on sensitive surfaces such as laminate, tears easily by hand and can be walked on immediately after laying. The adhesive is solvent-free and odour-free, and the tape is UV-, temperature- and chemical-resistant.

• Stick the tape to the clean, dry floor along edges and seams, remove the liner and press the carpet or PVC covering onto it.

• Natural stone floors — not suitable according to tesa.
• Floor marking, safety lines or aisle marking — use a single-sided marking tape instead.
• Dusty, wet or greasy substrates — the floor must be clean and dry for the tape to hold.
