tesamoll Thermo Cover Window Insulation Film 1.7 x 1.5 m, Transparent, with Double-Sided Tape, Hairdryer-Tensioned

tesamoll Thermo Cover (05430) is a transparent window insulation film, 1.7 x 1.5 m, that you fix to the inside of the window frame with the included double-sided tape and then tighten with an ordinary hairdryer — creating an insulating air cushion in front of the glass that reduces draughts and condensation, especially on single-glazed windows.

The film itself is not adhesive: the double-sided acrylate tape goes around the frame, the film is pressed onto it, and warm air from a hairdryer shrinks it smooth and wrinkle-free so it becomes nearly invisible. The film is made of PE and PET, the adhesive is solvent-free, and tesa lists a maximum temperature of 80 °C.
