The Load Cell sensor measures the pressure applied to the pedal rather than the pedal's travel, delivering more realistic and consistent braking with 24-bit resolution and up to 220 lb / 100 kg capacity. ⚠ Upgrade Kit — Not a Standalone Pedal Set: The Raceline LC Upgrade requires an existing Raceline Pedals LTE or Raceline Pedals III to function. It is not compatible with older Thrustmaster pedal sets (T3PA, T-LCM, TTRP, or similar). On consoles, it requires a Thrustmaster Force Feedback racing wheel base (T500 excluded).

A Load Cell sensor measures the pressure applied to the pedal — not its travel distance. Unlike potentiometers, it responds to muscle memory rather than foot position, delivering more consistent and realistic braking. The 24-bit resolution transmits every gram of pressure over an 11° travel angle.
 
4 Adjustable Pressure Configurations
Adjust the maximum braking force from 55 to 220 lb (25 to 100 kg) across 4 configurations — no tools required, just swap springs and the elastomer buffer. The preload dial lets you fine-tune in increments of ±11 lb / 5 kg to perfectly match your driving style or cockpit setup.
 
EQUALIZER & Advanced Software Settings
Via the My Thrustmaster Panel (PC) or the T598 Race Dash screen, unlock pedal travel adjustment, dead zones, and fully customisable response curves with the EQUALIZER. Tune brake sensitivity for trail braking, threshold braking, or heavy simulations.

No. The Raceline LC Upgrade is an upgrade kit that requires an existing Raceline Pedals LTE or Raceline Pedals III set. It cannot function on its own. If you need a complete 3-pedal set with Load Cell already included, see the Thrustmaster Raceline Pedals III LC.
What is the difference between a Load Cell and a potentiometer brake pedal?
A potentiometer brake measures how far you push the pedal (travel/position). A Load Cell measures how hard you push (force/pressure).
