TP-Link Deco XE75 (2-pack) · AXE5400 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 6E Mesh System
Wi-Fi 6E · 6 GHz bandAXE5400 tri-band3 × Gigabit per unitUp to 5,500 ft²
The TP-Link Deco XE75 2-pack is an AXE5400 tri-band Wi-Fi 6E mesh system with 2 identical units that cover up to 5,500 ft² (about 510 m²), aimed at 3–5 bedroom homes and small offices that want fast, seamless Wi-Fi in every room, including the new 6 GHz band.
Each Deco unit has three radios: 2402 Mbps on 6 GHz, 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, all with 160 MHz channels on 6 and 5 GHz. The 6 GHz band is free of older devices and neighbours' networks, so newer phones, laptops and tablets with Wi-Fi 6E get low-latency, high-throughput connections. The units find each other automatically, form one network name, and hand devices from one Deco to the next as you move. Note that TP-Link lists the XE75 as being phased out in favour of newer Deco models.
Before you order: The Deco XE75 is a router/mesh system, not a modem. You need your provider's modem or fibre ONT (or a router in bridge mode) in front of it. Only Wi-Fi 6E devices use the 6 GHz band; older devices connect on 5 or 2.4 GHz.
What's in the Box
- 2 × Deco XE75 units
- 1 × RJ45 Ethernet cable
- 2 × power adapters
- 1 × quick installation guide
What It Means in Practice
- One Deco connects to the modem/ONT; the others go in mid-house positions — no cabling needed, though wired Ethernet backhaul is supported for best speed.
- 3 Gigabit ports per unit let you plug in a TV, console, PC or switch near each Deco.
- HomeShield (basic, free) gives parental controls and network security; Pro features are a paid subscription.
- Router or Access Point mode — keep your current router and use the Decos only as mesh Wi-Fi if you prefer.
What Will Not Work
- No 2.5 Gbps or multi-gig ports — internet plans above 1 Gbps will be limited by the Gigabit WAN.
- No built-in DSL, fibre or 4G/5G modem.
- No USB port for storage or printer sharing.
- 6 GHz only works with Wi-Fi 6E (or Wi-Fi 7) client devices.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need all 2 units?
No, but 2 units are sized for 3–5 bedroom homes. Start with the main unit at the modem and place the others half-way to the areas with weak signal.
Will it work with my Cyprus ISP?
Yes, with your provider's modem or ONT in front of it. Set the Deco to Router mode (or Access Point mode if the ISP router must stay as router).
Can I add more Decos later?
Yes, additional Deco units can join the same network through the Deco app.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
Deco XE75 is worth it when you have Wi-Fi 6E phones or laptops and a multi-room home where one router leaves dead spots. If your plan is faster than 1 Gbps, look at a model with a 2.5G WAN instead. See all our
routers and mesh systems.
✓ Buy it if you want whole-home Wi-Fi 6E coverage with seamless roaming for 3–5 bedroom homes on an internet plan up to 1 Gbps.
✕ Skip it if your internet plan is above 1 Gbps, you need a built-in modem, or none of your devices support Wi-Fi 6E.
→ Also consider the Deco XE75 3-pack for larger homes or more floors.
