Compatibility — check before buying:
This is the non-PoE SG6428X - for Power over Ethernet choose the SG6428XHP variant. The four 10G SFP+ slots need transceivers or DAC cables (sold separately). Stacking (up to 8 units in standalone mode) uses the 10G SFP+ ports, which then reduces the slots available for uplinks. The switch has four fixed fans, so it is not silent. Omada SDN control is optional - it also runs fully standalone via web GUI or CLI.
