TP-Link Omada SX3832 24-Port 10GBASE-T L2+ Managed Switch with 8x 10G SFP+ Slots, 640 Gbps, Omada SDN, 1U Rack
TP-Link Omada SX3832 24-Port 10GBASE-T L2+ Managed Switch with 8x 10G SFP+
The TP-Link Omada SX3832 is a 1U L2+ managed switch with 24 RJ45 ports that run at 100 Mbps, 1, 2.5, 5 or 10 Gbps and eight 1G/10G SFP+ slots, with 640 Gbps switching capacity. It is built as a 10G aggregation or server/storage switch for small and mid-size businesses — connecting NAS units, virtualisation hosts, 10G workstations and access switches — and is managed either standalone or centrally through Omada SDN.
Because the copper ports negotiate 2.5G and 5G as well as 10G, it also works as an access switch for multi-gig Wi-Fi access points and PCs over existing Cat5e/Cat6 cabling. It provides no PoE; the PoE version is the SX3832MPP.
What's in the Box

- Power cord
- Console cable
- Rack-mount kit and rubber feet
- Quick installation guide
What It Means in Practice
- Connect servers and NAS units at 10G over copper and link to the core or other switches over SFP+ fibre or DAC.
- Static routing (48 routes) lets it route between VLANs locally without a separate router.
- Omada SDN brings it into the same controller as Omada gateways and access points, with zero-touch provisioning via the Cloud-Based Controller.
- Dual firmware images and configurations make upgrades safer.
What Will Not Work
- It provides no PoE — use the SX3832MPP or a separate PoE switch for APs and cameras.
- It does not support dynamic routing (OSPF/BGP) or stacking.
- Only up to two SM5310-T 10G RJ45 SFP+ modules are supported in the SFP+ slots.
- SFP+ transceivers and DAC cables are not included.
