3MP / 2304 × 1296IP662.4 GHz Wi-Fi + Ethernet

The Tapo TC65 V1 suits a fixed view of an entrance, yard or side passage. Its IP66 housing is intended for outdoor use, and you can use Ethernet when Wi-Fi coverage at the mounting point is weak. The separate 9 V power adapter remains necessary with either network connection; plan the power route as well as the camera angle.

Choose the network route
Ethernet and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi offer two network paths. This is a powered camera, so a network cable does not replace the supplied adapter.
 
Speak through the camera
The built-in microphone and speaker support two-way conversation. Sound and light alarms provide an additional response to activity.
 
Choose local or cloud recording
Add a compatible microSD card for local recordings. Tapo Care is optional and uses a separate subscription. Update firmware before using a 512 GB card.

Will a 5 GHz-only Wi-Fi network work?
The camera uses 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Enable a suitable 2.4 GHz network or use the Ethernet connection.
Does Ethernet also supply power?
No PoE supply is specified for this model. Use the included 9 V DC adapter even when connecting the network by Ethernet.
Is a cloud subscription necessary for local recording?
Local recording uses a separately purchased compatible microSD card. Tapo Care cloud storage is optional. Capacity up to 512 GB requires the latest firmware.
