The TP-Link Omada POE260S is a single-port PoE+ injector with 2.5 Gbps ports, built for Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E access points with 2.5G uplinks. It adds up to 30 W of IEEE 802.3at power to the cable, so a 2.5G access point can run at full speed from a 2.5G switch that has no PoE.
The power supply is internal and connects with a power cord (100–240 V AC). The injector detects the connected device and supplies the power it needs automatically. Both RJ45 ports support 10/100/1000 Mbps and 2.5 Gbps, and wall-mounting hardware is included.
Before you order: 2.5 Gbps is only reached when the switch, the cabling (Cat5e or better) and the access point all support 2.5G. The maximum PoE output is 30 W — 802.3bt devices are not supported.

- Lets a 2.5G Wi-Fi 6/6E access point keep its full uplink speed — a Gigabit injector would cap it at 1 Gbps.
- Works equally with 1 Gbps devices, so it remains useful after equipment changes.
- Up to 100 m over Cat5e or better.
- Operating range is 0–40 °C; keep it in a ventilated room, not a hot cabinet.
What Will Not Work
- It does not power 802.3bt (60/90 W) devices.
- It does not create 2.5G speed on a 1G switch or cable path.
- It does not output 12 V DC for non-PoE devices.
- It is not a switch: one data input, one data + power output.
