Dual-band Wi-Fi 7 mesh for a connected home
BE3600 Wi-Fi 7One EU unit2× Gigabit ports per unitRouter or access point
The TP-Link Deco BE22 EU one-pack contains one compact white Wi-Fi 7 unit for router or access-point operation, or expansion of a compatible Deco network. BE3600 combines up to 2882Mbps on 5GHz and 688Mbps on 2.4GHz, while the unit provides two autosensing Gigabit WAN/LAN ports. Setup and network management use the Deco app. Additional nodes are required for a multi-node mesh.
Best For: A single router/AP installation or adding one compatible Deco node, with Gigabit Ethernet and supported Wi-Fi clients.
Before you order: This package contains one Deco unit and one adapter. Multi-node coverage and roaming require additional separately supplied Decos. It is dual-band 2.4/5GHz without 6GHz, and its Ethernet ports are 1Gbps. Use a suitable ISP modem/ONT and service as applicable. BE3600 is aggregate radio PHY class, not guaranteed Internet or single-client throughput.
What's in the Box
- 1× Deco BE22 EU unit.
- 1× power adapter, 1× RJ45 Ethernet cable and quick installation guide.
- Additional Deco nodes, ISP equipment and extra cabling are separate.
What It Means in Practice
- Connect the single Deco to the Internet handoff as a router/AP, or add it to a compatible existing Deco network.
- Use the Deco app to configure the network and select router or access-point mode as appropriate.
- Ethernet backhaul is supported; account for the ports occupied by WAN and backhaul cables.
- Compatible clients can use MLO and other Wi-Fi 7 features, while supported older Wi-Fi devices can join the network.
What Will Not Work
- No 6GHz radio or 2.5Gbps Ethernet is specified.
- Each unit has two Ethernet ports in total; one port can serve as WAN at a time.
- Roaming, MLO and peak wireless performance depend on client support, firmware, placement and interference.
- Some advanced HomeShield services require a separate subscription; coverage depends on the building.
Key Features
One flexible node
Use the included unit on its own or add it to a compatible Deco network; extra units are separate.
Dual-band Wi-Fi 7
Up to 2882Mbps at 5GHz plus 688Mbps at 2.4GHz, with MLO, 160MHz and 4K-QAM support subject to compatibility.
Flexible Ethernet backhaul
Two autosensing Gigabit WAN/LAN ports per unit support wired devices and Ethernet backhaul.
App-based management
Deco app management, guest and IoT networking, WPA3 support and HomeShield options help organize the home network.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Wi-Fi 7 mean it has 6GHz?
No. This exact BE22 is dual-band on 2.4GHz and 5GHz.
Are the ports 2.5Gbps?
No. Each unit has two Gigabit Ethernet WAN/LAN ports.
How many units are included?
This exact EU one-pack contains one Deco BE22 unit and one power adapter.
Can the nodes use a cable between them?
Ethernet backhaul is supported when other compatible Deco nodes are added. This one-pack includes only one unit.
Is all HomeShield functionality free?
No. Some advanced HomeShield services require a paid subscription. Check current TP-Link plans for the desired functions.
Singular Expert Insight
Decide whether you need one router or an additional mesh node before choosing a pack. BE3600 describes combined wireless PHY rates; Gigabit ports limit wired connections. A single unit cannot provide roaming between multiple physical nodes. Add compatible Decos and plan placement/backhaul when extending coverage.
Buyer’s Guide
✓ Buy it if You need one EU Deco router/AP or one add-on node with dual-band Wi-Fi 7 and Gigabit Ethernet.
✕ Skip it if You require a 6GHz radio, multi-gigabit Ethernet or an integrated DSL/cellular modem.
→ Also consider ISP handoff, node placement, backhaul cabling, client Wi-Fi support and any desired HomeShield subscription.
