TRENDnet TI-G262 26-Port Hardened Industrial Gigabit DIN-Rail Switch
24x Gigabit + 2x SFP-40 to 75 °CIP30 metalDual DC input
The TRENDnet TI-G262 is a 26-port hardened industrial switch with 24 Gigabit RJ45 ports and two Gigabit SFP slots in an IP30 metal housing for DIN-rail or wall mounting, rated for -40 to 75 °C. It is an unmanaged switch for control cabinets, factory automation, transport and outdoor enclosures where many devices — PLCs, HMIs, cameras, controllers — need to connect in one place.
It runs on 12–56 V DC with dual redundant power inputs and an alarm relay contact that signals a power failure, which is the standard way industrial cabinets are powered and monitored.
Before you order: The DIN-rail power supply is not included. Use a 12–56 V DC industrial PSU such as TRENDnet TI-M6024 (60 W, 24 V) or TI-S15052 (150 W, 52 V); for redundancy connect two supplies. SFP modules are also separate — use industrial-temperature SFPs such as TRENDnet TI-MGBS10 or TI-MGBSX.
What's in the Box
- TRENDnet TI-G262 switch
- Removable terminal block (power and relay)
- DIN-rail and wall-mount kit
- Quick installation guide
What It Means in Practice
- 24 copper ports let you wire an entire cabinet or production line to one switch.
- The SFP slots connect cabinets over fibre — immune to electrical noise and good for long runs between buildings or machines.
- Dual DC inputs keep the switch running if one supply fails; the relay can trigger a PLC or alarm.
- Wide-temperature design for unheated or uncooled enclosures.
What Will Not Work
- It is unmanaged — no VLANs, ring redundancy, QoS settings or SNMP.
- It does not provide PoE (see TI-PG262 for the PoE+ version).
- It will not run from mains AC directly; it needs a DC supply.
- SFP modules and the power supply are not included.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which power supply should I use?
Any 12–56 V DC industrial supply with enough headroom; TRENDnet lists TI-M6024 (60 W) and TI-S15052 (150 W) among others.
Does it support ring redundancy?
No. It is unmanaged; for ring topologies choose a managed industrial switch.
Can I use standard SFP modules?
They work electrically, but for -40 to 75 °C operation use industrial-temperature SFPs such as the TRENDnet TI-MGBS series.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
The TI-G262 is a high-density, no-configuration switch for industrial cabinets: 24 Gigabit ports plus fibre in a DIN-rail case that tolerates extreme temperatures. Order the DC power supply and industrial SFPs with it. See our other
network switches.
✓ Buy it if you need many Gigabit ports in a control cabinet or harsh environment without managing the switch.
✕ Skip it if you need PoE, VLANs or ring redundancy.
→ Also consider the TRENDnet TI-PG262 for the same port count with 16 PoE+ ports.
