TRENDnet TI-PG262 26-Port Hardened Industrial Gigabit PoE+ DIN-Rail Switch
16x PoE+ 30 W480 W budget2x SFP-40 to 75 °C
The TRENDnet TI-PG262 is a 26-port hardened industrial switch with sixteen Gigabit PoE+ ports (IEEE 802.3af/at, up to 30 W each), eight further Gigabit RJ45 ports and two 100/1000 SFP slots, with a 480 W PoE budget, in an IP30 metal DIN-rail housing rated for -40 to 75 °C. It is designed for cabinets that power many IP cameras, wireless bridges and IoT devices in factories, car parks, transport hubs and outdoor enclosures.
It is unmanaged, so it works out of the box. Power comes from 48–56 V DC with dual redundant inputs and a power-failure alarm relay.
Before you order: The power supply is not included, and PoE needs 48–56 V DC. To use the full 480 W budget, TRENDnet specifies the TI-S48048 (480 W) DIN-rail supply; a smaller supply limits the available PoE. Industrial-temperature SFPs (TRENDnet TI-MGBS series) are also separate.
What's in the Box
- TRENDnet TI-PG262 switch
- Removable terminal block
- DIN-rail and wall-mount kit
- Quick installation guide
What It Means in Practice
- Power up to 16 cameras or APs at full PoE+ (16 x 30 W = 480 W) when fed by a 480 W supply.
- Eight extra non-PoE ports for PLCs, recorders or uplinks to other switches.
- SFP slots for fibre links between cabinets or to the control room.
- Dual DC inputs and an alarm relay for redundant, monitored power.
What Will Not Work
- It is unmanaged — no VLANs, ring protocols or PoE scheduling.
- It does not run from AC mains and does not supply PoE below 48 V DC input.
- It does not support 802.3bt (60/90 W) devices.
- Power supply and SFP modules are not included.

Frequently Asked Questions
What power supply gives the full 480 W?
TRENDnet specifies the TI-S48048 (480 W, 48–56 V). A smaller 48–56 V supply works but reduces the PoE you can draw.
Can I run it from 24 V DC?
No — PoE models need 48–56 V DC.
Does it support ring redundancy?
No, it is unmanaged.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
The TI-PG262 packs sixteen PoE+ ports and fibre into a DIN-rail cabinet switch — ideal for camera-heavy industrial sites. The power supply decides your real PoE budget, so size it to the devices before ordering. See our other
network switches.
✓ Buy it if you power many cameras or APs from an industrial cabinet in a harsh environment.
✕ Skip it if you need managed features, ring redundancy or 60/90 W PoE.
→ Also consider the TRENDnet TI-G262 for the same port count without PoE.
Send us your camera models and cabinet conditions and we will size the DIN-rail PSU and SFPs before you order.
